THE FRENCH PROVIDORE MOORABBIN

If you can't travel to France at the moment, you can definitely eat some of the best French fare that I've had in Melbourne.

All pastries are made in house. My butter croissant was hot, crispy and melt in my mouth goodness.

I also tried a vegetarian Cheese Salad. This was 3 delicious oven baked goat cheese toasts with a hint of Moit Acacia honey and and a side of salad.

The cheese toasts was crunchy ... perfect. The goats cheese was absolutely delicious with a deep flavour.

The salad was really fresh, with walnuts, dried apricots & balsamic vinegar.

The service is excellent. Genuinely warm and friendly. They have a large range of imported French staples such as jams, preserves, preserved fruits and biscuits in the cutest tins.

Next time I am trying the duck burger, it sounds delicious.

Near the train station with lots of street parking this place is a must visit.

Delicious food, best service, highly recommended! Especially my husband loves this shop’s coffee rather than somewhere else! It is a must try with other dishes.

This is our guilty little pleasure. I dare anyone to find a better tasting croissant anywhere. Sure you can follow others, sucked in by expensive marketing campaigns, pay top dollar for boxing and hot air…or you can try these traditional buttery delights.

A real asset to Hampton street...simply great service, excellent coffee and interesting high quality food:
quiche with tomatoes, tuna and mustard;
quiche withs peas spinach and asparagus...these are great dishes!

This place is the best everything made in house amazing crepes and the best croissants nothing from here has disappointed me 5 stars

We bought some products for our office annual party, I can not believe how good it was. Even better than I remember from my trip in France. The best quality I found in Melbourne. Definitely recommend them.

Another visit today 9/ 02 / 23 and the café is as good as before.

I visit this Cafe every Thursday after my dancing g classes to enjoy coffee or tea with delicious pantries. 😋 Highly recommend it!!!!

Love this cafe! The chai is always hot and strong and Gill and the staff are very friendly. Gill makes a lot of the pastries here and he has a passion for good quality food. The meals we've had have been fresh and delicious and the walls are lined with French products to take home. A real gem in Moorabbin. Highly recommended!

Impromptu stop here and picked up some preserves and had lunch with latte and hot chocolate. Tres Bien.

You won't come close to the taste and quality of their baguettes, pastries, and their products anywhere else. The coffee is great and consistent each time, the owner is so friendly and passionate as well. (I might have to open a savings account to put money away into, just to spend at this cafe ha.) Best French Cafe. Excellent service, ambience and food.

A legit French cafe in the neighbourhood, who would have thought! :) I went to the Providore for the first time this morning for breakie and the food was absolutely delicious, not to mention very authentic. I had a galette complète which was perfect. The coffee was really nice too. As a french speaker it was nice to have a little chat with the owners who are really lovely. All the bread, baguettes, croissants and pâtisseries are made daily onsite, and i couldn't help but grabbing a baguette to enjoy later in the day. I was very impressed and can absolutely recommend. À bientôt!

Croissants and bread are the best in Melbourne, and it took me back to France !!! Served by Adam who is so lovely. I highly recommend both stores in Moorabbin and Hampton !!!
