Hello. I don't do this often but I wish to make a customer complaint. 530 am this morning I called in to the roadhouse to buy food. You had an attend behind the counter. A portly female of short stature with longer tied back hair and glasses. I was on my way to work as many of us are that frequent your roadhouse at this time of day.
At this time there was another male in the store at the other end perusing the shelves. When I walked in the store and looked across the counter this attendant was already on her phone as I walked up to the bay Marie. She looked right up at me and continued on her phone ignoring my presence. I looked a few times over at her and she continued to ignore me and I could hear exerts of her conversation. It sounded personal in context this conversation, I heard her call the person 'hun, babe ' while she continued to ignore me and not serve me standing at the baine Marie. The man that was already in your store came down to the counter in front of where she was now standing off her phone, she continued to ignore me at the food warmer and asked him if she could help him and promptly served him. Another man walked in the door and stood next to me at the baine Marie and she then walked over to the bain Marie and ignored me still and asked him if he was alright. He responded with 'this guy was here before I was and pointed at me. She asked me what i wanted, another staff member came to do something at the food warmer, i gave him a look an he then stood back as she got my food. We went over to the register she told me my total and pointed at the eft and i tapped my card as she threw my bag of food at me on the counter.
I looked at her in amazement and told her to have a nice day.
I have no idea why she was so blantatly rude, why she ignored my presence and carried on her personal call or why she served someone who clearly had just walked up to the counter and not me as I patiently waited nor do I know why she attempted to ignore me again and serve another who also clearly walked in much after me. I am at a loss to explain why she just threw my food at me on the counter.
Her rudeness, ignorance and bad customer service is a total mystery to me. As far as I'm concerned she should not hold a customer service position if she wishes to be rude and ignore your customers, especially those of us who spend money regularly in your store.
Her behavior annoyed me so much so that not only will all my family who regularly stop there during the morning on their way to work no longer do so, but neither will my colleagues. Beyond a shadow of a doubt she is of detriment to your business if this is how she treats customers. I will be leaving both a Facebook, Google, and a ampol station review and complaint because it is my hope that you would train your staff to be of much higher customer service abilities than she presently possesses.
