Smallish store, newly opened. Reasonable overall selection for the size and a convenient location opposite Woolies. Staff are friendly but currently rather over-keen to help, probably because of the new opening. I've been asked 3-4 times in one visit if I need any help, which is a bit off-putting when you just want to browse. I expect this will settle down though. A welcome addition to the neighbourhood.

It's a small store. Just opened today, lots of tastings although I wasn't in the mood it was good. Staff were a little too aggressively helpful but I put this down to opening day. Glad it is here for competition, wish it was a little bigger. I think 1st Choice Balwyn will still be my main choice but I'll come to Dan's Balwyn again...

Local joint to grab your alcohol fix. A smaller venue compared to the others but still stocks a surprisingly good range.

It's a smaller shop but convenient and the range is reasonable. Sometimes you can only enter via the Whitehorse Road door and have to go out the back, which means going through the rain at times. Otherwise ok.

Good store. Parking is in a general area but ok. The store is on the smaller side for a Dan Murphy but has a reasonable range.

Just too small - pathetic range. Should have heard alarm bells when I saw the child sized trolley. Ok if you were grabbing a bottle as a gift or to go byo but just a wasted opportunity for a decent local dans. Go 300 metres up the road to First Choice Balwyn

Feedback on Whisky Tasting on 27 Jul 2023:
I bought a ticket ($20) for a whisky tasting. It was supposed to be grape vs grain however it was informed at the start of the event that it is grain only for Glenfarcas single malt. Unfortunately it seemed all talk as the glasses were already prefilled in advance with approx a teaspoon full of whisky. Not worth it, felt like a waste of time and money. Do not recommend whisky tasting at DM. Better go to a winery.

I went to get a 12 yr single malt Irish and purchased it at 0.05 cts cheaper than a cellar in East Balwyn village. 🤦🏽‍♂
