Years ago, back in 2016 I had just moved into the area and had no idea what time the local shops closed. My house mate requested that I go to get some meat for a late dinner and so I proceeded down to Vinh Hung. They were clearly packing up, but when they saw me they welcomed me in and assisted me in getting what I needed. From that point on, I frequently (weekly) did shopping there, as I felt welcome.

Fast forward to today. I've been in another area for close to two years, but was passing through and needed some mince. I thought hey I'll stop in at Vinh's. Oh how the mighty have fallen.......... in the past I could get exactly what I required. Usually back then I'd get them to finely grind the mince and it was done with a smile. Today upon request, with a smile on my part, I was told flatly that "We don't grind any finer than this. That's all the option."

With heavy heart I walked out, never to return. Perhaps it has new management since 2021.? I don't know. But, just wow.
