I recently bought a Fender Esquire from Eastgate Music, and it was a great experience. Not only did I get the guitar I wanted but Ben was extremely helpful and arranged the setup and everything else I was after as well. I'd definitely buy from them again - the customer service is excellent, the prices are great and the guitar arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I cannot recommend them enough.

Ben was excellent! I recently bought a Maxon CS-550 Stereo Chorus pedal and asked if they could package the box in another to preserve the original box from the rigours of interstate post. And he packed my item so well, and kept to his word in sending me an unopened unit. It was flawless. I will be buying again. And so should you!

I came here today with my parents to get a digital piano. Walter gave us great customer service, providing us with his knowledge and expertise about the various digital pianos available. He also told me about the differences between the pianos, and the functions available. Within a short time, we had selected our choice and made the purchase. I chose a Yamaha set which included the seat and stand, as well as the piano itself, all the cables required and a sustain pedal, all at a reasonable cost. The RRP of the Yamaha P-125 is $999, but we got this and more for a lot cheaper. Also, Walter helped us carry the boxes out to the car and this was very thoughtful. Thank you for the great customer service and willingness to help. It always makes me so happy when there are people in retail willing to go above and beyond to make it the best possible experience.

I just bought a telecaster from Ben and his service was impeccable as showed me through various options. The prices were fantastic. Overall a fabulous place to buy your guitar.

Ordered a bass cabinet online from Eastgate Music on 20/4/23 and it arrived at my place OVER 700km away at 10am 24/4/23, (with a weekend on 22,23/4/23) ! Less than 2 days delivery from Eastgate to a very small town in country S.A., and all this while they were moving premises ! Item delivered by courier in perfect condition. Unbelievable service ! Amazing friendly environment. That was my first time. I bought an amp but I tested several and I never got the impression that I was wasting their time. The knew when to help and knew when to leave me alone to test and decide. Awesome place.

Alot of luxurious guitars, amps, and parts. You can get almost any instruments here from keyboards, cello, upright bass, electric guitars, acoustic, etc. Go find walter, he will help you find the gear fit you best. Good service with humor and honesty from walter. I love this place very much

Helped me out with what I needed as someone starting out and did not have much knowledge about the systems for what I wanted to do and when I faced issues helped me out and solved them immediately. A very positive experience. The staff were delightful, caring and generous - with both their time and thoughtfulness. They set my eight year old up with a perfectly fitted guitar, and we couldn’t be happier. As loyal customers to date, we will be back again soon.

Very friendly and good communication. Responded to emails even after closing time. Went in to buy an instrument but was disappointed when the sticker price was higher than the price on their website. When I asked them about it, they said they haven't updated their website yet but would be happy to honour the lower price. Very happy with the purchase and customer service so far.

Bought my first guitar from Marcello about 15 years ago, the bloke has been good to me as a returning customer since then. Drew and Chris do a great job running the day to day of the shop and Wazza is always happy to help with anything technical. Not your average guitar shop full of ass holes, they're all great blokes who care.

Fantastic service. I ordered a Fender American Original 50's strat in Aztec Gold all the way from Sydney area because of the great price offered. Reuben ensured that I received the guitar the very next day, which is outstanding given that I once waited 3 weeks for a rare amp to be delivered to me from Victoria. The guitar was well-packaged, and was even set up quite well. They also allowed me to place the item on a quick layby whilst I waited to determine the best shipping date. I couldn't ask for more

Was Recommended this store by a good friend, who’s views opinions and recommendations are Gospal! The guys in the store were beyond friendly and Helpful. My experience was wonderful, I could have spent all day in there.
But because my trip to the store was a so called “ Midnight Run” ie a short visit on my Half hr lunch break, they accomplished my needs with professional knowledge and haste!

I no longer live in the area, but I still travel to this amazing shop for all my music needs. A great team of staff and an impressive range of products; I regularly leave with more than I came for because of their awesome service. Best part? There’s no mansplaining here. All the staff treat me equally and don’t talk down to me (it’s not uncommon for a female to experience that in a music shop). 👏🏼

Serious knowledge and a willingness to help from these guys. Warren the luthier is my go to guy for any guitar servicing and repairs, and I have tried everyone in the Melbourne metro area. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or a professional, the staff at Eastgate will point you in the right direction and get you playing a quality instrument at any budget. Not only that - but they have the best range of boutique guitar amplifiers, effects pedals and quality guitar accessories in Australia. It's definitely worth a drive up the hill to Kew!

Great music store and the staff are extremely friendly + knowledgeable about the instruments in stock.

Will tune instruments for you once you buy the instruments, even if your getting it fixed they will still tune for you.

Will give you good deal on things as well.

I came in looking for a part for my ukulele's tuning peg and they were able to help me quickly and effectively. I cannot rate them highly enough, this was an incredibly positive experience for me from start to finish
