I don't understand why this place isn't packed all the time. It has great variety & really good prices that are better than the 'big' supermarkets that the blind sheep shop at.
Staff are genuinely friendly & helpful.
Parking is close to the store & plentiful.
I wouldn't go anywhere else now.

I am a regular customer for many years. The front checkout counter staff are very friendly and helpful. Big thanks to IGA management for employing staff from various migrant backgrounds. Make it easier for non English speaking customers to have a good shopping experience knowing that they can talk to a staff who understands their language. Well done!

WOW! What a place. Visited this IGA today for the first time and OMG what a MEGA STORE. It would give a Coles store a run for its money. It's absolutely HUGE!

Their Deli section is as good as any Coles I've been to and it's got everything you could ever want from a Deli.

The store itself is laid out just like any of the major brand and the floor space is impressive to say the least. I was so surprised at the range of interesting and unusual branded products they carry.

It doesn't matter what your background is, this store caters for every taste.

Do yourself a favour and take a run out to this place and check it out. It's IMPRESSIVE!.

They have the best 80s music playing in that store. Whoever designed the playlist deserves an award. I want a copy of the soundtrack and the friendly staff said I should get the cassette version too. Also the store is super tidy and has good range of stock. Good European range of food. Can pick up different brands of Ajvar. Yummy.

If the line to pay gets a bit long, you can go through pay at the liquor counter.
Good pricing on liquor.
Has a very good range of fresh fruit, veg, bread, cakes and meat with a deli.
Sometimes very good meat specials.
They also have hot cooked food so you can get a take away lunch, Eg: lasagna, roast meat, roast veg.

Great variety of products, complete delicatessen with everything you need. Competitive prices and different shops nearby

The review from Sophia Ferry is a bit rich. Maybe you need to learn to time manage better if your always getting to the deli so close to closing time when people are entitled to you know.. Go home? and not wait around cleaning up after their finishing hour because they now have to clean up again because of you.

Staff were very lovely

I just love this place, it is huge but feels inviting and the variety of goods is amazing. I'm not a local but when I'm in the area I like to drop in and shop.

I like meat options and price.

All of the staff greet you with a smile, they go out of their way to help you and to keep you satisfied as a customer/patron. This store actively promote sundry ways to benefit at their store/s, such as "ESP" tags. These tags are scanned with each purchase, loyaty points are accumulated and every 2,000 points a certificate is given to the customer. Several times cashstrapped these certificates have provided my household with meals when otherwise we would have gone without.
Another lifesaver is "EasyFuel" this store promotes (actively ), every purchase of $30 IGA will pay 3 cents per litre of fuel, these also accumulate ( doesn't just stay at 3cents but I have had as much as $1.10 per litre credit) but don't stretch it out over the two month mark or some of that credit expires. I have within the last 6 months saved over $90 in fuel. Guess where I am going to spend that money on consumables?
Not only that, but these stores have brand names that this senior recalls from childhood, products known, trusted and cherished along with a range of new products to broaden out my experience.
IGA, I love it !
Oh, and a cheerio to all the staff there on Fitzgerald Road.
