I just had my first bike service here after my previous mechanic moved and recommended I see Chris at Pedal Cyclery.

He did such a great job on my commuter! I knew as soon as I started pedaling that the job was done with the utmost care. My bike is now running like a dream! Great to know I've found my new bike shop.

Chris was incredibly helpful and open to providing me with the time and information I needed to make the choice of my new omnium! His knowledge provided very good in helping make a choice on model and size. Overall loved the experience and the shop, look forward to finding a reason to go back!

Not really sure what I would do if Pedal Cyclery wasn't around, Chris built my bike around 10 years ago and it rides as good today as the day it was built. Chris has always provided top quality service - appreciate their approach and attention to detail. Keep doing what your doing!

Chris fit me in for a tube on a Friday afternoon, then pointed out a couple of issues that a full service at another store apparently missed 3 months ago. Bike feels as good as new now, and the cost was very reasonable.
Really happy with everything and Chris seems to really care about his work.

My ride after the adjustments felt a lot smoother compared to when the other repair shop in Northcote adjusted it. Also loved that time was taken to explain things to me first before proceeding with the adjustments. Thanks for the quality service even though my bike (for now) is on the side having of cheap parts! Looking forward to being a regular customer at your shop (hopefully not *that* regular) — will definitely come to you for my next bike or if I need some general bike advice.

I feel very lucky to have such an excellent bike shop around the corner. A very inviting space with super friendly staff who really know bikes and are generous with their time. I feel I can completely trust their judgement. They did an awesome job restoring my old road bike which has been a delight to ride since. It’s rare and wonderful to have a place that takes pride in bringing new life back to old things!

I've been going to Pedal Cyclery for the past 3 years, and their service has been consistently outstanding. Chris and Murray are incredibly detail-oriented, skilled, and fair. They rebuilt a '90s steel-frame for me back in 2015 and continue providing great service and advice - runs smooth like butter. They're also super nice guys, non-judgmental, and eager to help. A few times the bike has needed reworking after servicing or upgrades, and they've always provided prompt attention at no cost. Chris is also an excellent barista so grab a brew while you're there. Have recommended to all friends - well worth stopping by.

A while ago I required urgent puncture repairs on my sports wheelchair tyres. The owners sense the urgency, but they also gave me an unlimited warranty. Very polite and good PR skills were displayed. Such an advocate to supporting local business, so keep up the good work and service.

Thanks Pedal Cyclery for the fabulous service you did on my bike. It’s now better than new. You got rid of the awful clunk sound that no one else was able to diagnose and fix.

Chris and everyone else here are amazing. I’ve had a bike built here and am really happy with it. I’ve also bought numerous parts. But most importantly, everyone here always has time to help you out, answer your questions and get you exactly what you need. Prices are very reasonable too. No hipster designer bike shop vibes here!

Serviced my 2015 Giant road bike. New chain, cassette and bar tape. Wow! My bike is running like it’s new 👍 I didn’t realise how much my bike’s performance had degraded until after the service. Now I am picking up PB’s and cups on Strava. I won’t leave it too long between services next time (promise 🤞) Chris’ team are very knowledgeable and I got a great service at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!
