WHSmith - Melbourne T4 (Gate 1)

Friendly smiling staff. No more expensive than any other retailer in Melbourne Airport. Prices are at the mercy of Airport Management who charge such high rents. These retailers then have to charge higher prices to cover this cost. Don't blame the retailers or retail workers. Blame Airport Management. It's got the most expensive parking of any Airport in Australia as well.

They helped me out in ways I will never forget; they were my first interaction with Australia!

Highly recommended! The food is great, too, by the way. ;)

Stocks everything from snacks, waters, juices, soft drinks, chocolates, books, magazines. Travel essentials like adaptors, chargers, sanitisers etc.

Prices here are out of control, even for an airport. This is the place to go if you want to get ripped off AND served by rude staff at the same time. Water is $8.50 and if you use the self service it says the same price but it's a scam because they add a sneaky surcharge without notifying you. I asked the staff why there's not a notice saying a surcharge will be applied and the she just ignored me. I saw one customer so upset they spit on the floor in disgust

This news agent company now operate a cafe T1 Melbourne airport called long shot…. Not cafe operates. Good concept but lacking the right equipment and experienced staff to deliver. 30 mins for a toasty… 1 cooker!!! Feel sorry for the team and their apologies they have to give to every customer. Good team just need a cafe operator to help them, not a book seller

Lady working on the 23 of March on the morning shift, was the most disrespectful person, she was a team leader and she spoke to me rudely after entering the open store, refusing to serve me; making me go through self service while arguing with me! Worst public service ever!

Extremely rude and ill mannered staff. They do not know how to talk to customers or have basic customer service skills. Would not recommend this branch at all!

$6 and the extra 9c for a Dare when usually $3.85 and $6.99 for a V can when they are $12 for a 4 pack..then an extra 7c surcharge for the tap..absolutely pathetic!

5:29am and not even open to receive bad service! Says it opens at 4:30am on the website. Update needed.

Nice store but the prices are prohibitively expensive. Most items here cost more than they would to buy on a plane.
