1 person for $170 but feel those size rooms should be maximum $150 - regardless - I am hopeful to return as my room felt friendly fresh convenient comfortable clean - lovely linen supplied !

Booked as a last minute stop off with a friend after being away with work. Lucky to get in as it was their last room. Wasn't sure what to expect, but we were so happy as soon as we opened the door. Three bedrooms, one with two sets of bunks, full sized kitchen, dining area, lounge, enormous rear gated area and a fantastic front balcony with BBQ, best views and a shelf all around for placing drinks and snacks.
The place is really nicely renovated and the kitchen has everything you would need if you're there with a bunch of friends or kids. Just like home. I would definitely bring the husband and kids here for a holiday.
Beds are comfy, the place is spotless. Big TV in the main living area. Coat hangers in the bedrooms. Lovely Sheridan towels.
Downstairs is the cafe, and among other things has ready cooked meals as well as Byron Bay pizza that you can cook quickly in the oven, plus an enormous range of everything else you would need - including a bottle shop - and it's only a short stroll across the road to the beach.
I highly recommend this place. The people who run it are extremely helpful too.

We stayed 1 night and just loved the house across the road to the beach and so close to the general store - we were doing the Yuraygir coastal walk - the location couldn’t have been better. Ros was so very helpful in the lead up helping sort out dinner, breakfast and lunch. The house with its big verandah was great for relaxing and enjoying eating outside. Loved it. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing time in this well-presented house just across from Brooms Head Beach. The view from the large front deck was so spectacular. Highly recommend a chill out time at Brooms accommodation.

We stayed here whilst doing the Yuraygir Coastal Trek as a group of 8 women. The ladies in the store organized a gorgeous meal for us to cook and were lovely to deal with. The beach shak above the store was very cool, and comfortable for a large group. Cocktail hour on the front balcony was a perfect end to the night!

Our family had a fantastic stay at the Brooms Head General Store. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and fishing spots. Great coffee on site and lovely staff. Our room was cute, very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will be back.

We’ve just had a nice long weekend getaway at Brooms Head General Store Accommodation. The perfect spot, beach directly across the road, coffee shop ( great coffee) at your front door, quiet peaceful location. Accomodation was great, roomy and comfortable. We absolutely loved staying above the general store. Had the most amazing stay in the best location overlooking the beach. The accomodation was so spacious and clean - 11/10! Highly recommend!

Unit very clean and spacious, has everything you need. Ocean just across the road & general store out front for your morning coffee or to stock up on groceries if needed. Nathan & Ros and their staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again

Brooms Head General Store is a great surprise in a sleepy hamlet. Lots of interesting things to buy and some delightful food as well.

An absolute hidden gem (don’t tell anyone!). Recently renovated, clean & comfortable. We’ve stayed 3 times - Ros & Nathan are so welcoming, helpful and couldn’t have done more to make our stay more enjoyable and relaxing.

We stayed in one of the holiday units behind the store and had a wonderful beach weekend. The owners were welcoming and flexible when there was an issue with our booking. The store itself had plenty of options for snacks and meals for the weekend. Looking forward to coming back!

Great place to stay room has everything you need.

Fantastic location with very friendly hosts. The 3 bedroom unit was very clean, roomy and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and certainly recommend it as a great place to stay.

Awesome spot for a quiet beach holiday with great coffee, place a short walk to the beach and the Yuraygir Coastal trail . 6 off us stayed in the 3 bedroom unit which has been recently renovated and has everything you could need. Owners Ros and Nate are always friendly and helpful with great communication.

Fabulous location and wonderful service. everything you need is supplied. Beach across the road. Loved our stay and will be returning.

Brooms Head is a great place to stay. We went away with family and highly recommend the accomodation at the General Store. Very friendly and a well stocked General Store as well. Will be back.
