Gigi The Gourmet Grocer

A great new weekend business to call in for coffee and supplies, whether you’re a Coolamon local, day tripper from elsewhere in the Riverina, or just passing through.

The store is easy to find, located halfway down the Main Street (just down the hill from the butcher), and can be described as a very well stocked pantry with an emphasis on local produce, including:

Freshly baked bread
Relishes and preserves
Salami and other smallgoods
Pasta
Pizza
Passata
Moka pots
Sweets
Gift hampers

Aside from stocking goods with their own Gigi label, the staff have taken the time to source a whole lot more from other producers across the Riverina.

I took home and cooked one of the pizzas last night (delicious) and enjoyed the fruit bread with this morning’s breakfast.

Glad to have called in, will definitely be back!

Drive down to coolamon today from Sydney not knowing what to expect, visited Gigis cafe and the owner Louie couldn’t do enough for us. Not only was the coffee the best we had since visiting the Riverina, but we were able to taste the extra virgin olive oil and caramelised balsamic vinegar which were amazing. We also took home authentic pasta and pasta sauce which were products from Gigi. Would recommend to everyone - Vince

Had a packet of Mediterranean olives last week and today I started another one with Garlic & Chilli. Unbelievable taste! Highly recommended.
