I cannot recommend BWS City North highly enough! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with exceptional service and a warm atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to assist me in finding exactly what I needed, and their knowledge of their extensive selection was impressive. The store was impeccably clean and well-organized, making my shopping experience a breeze. Not only did they exceed my expectations in terms of service, but their prices were also incredibly competitive. Whether you're a casual shopper or a connoisseur, BWS City North is the place to go for all your beverage needs.

This rating is super unfair, and based on the bad timing of the store opening. WW probably jumped the gun and opened too soon, but since foot traffic has improved, it has been a very handy little local BWS. Obviously, the range is limited, but the staff are absolutely lovely and there's always something to pique the taste buds.

Give 3 stars due to only 3 out of 5 visitings are able to access, otherwise the shop is not operating or closing for staff break that also could be varies from 30 minutes to 1 hour

Convenient location but doesn't open until 2pm. On the weekends would prefer to buy early (on the way out) to have something over lunch with friends.

For an establishment like BWS I found out the hard way after ordering click and collect they only open from 2-8pm. So after arriving at 12:30 decided to come back at 5:30 only to be faced with a post-it note saying “back in 45 mins” seriously had I not pre-ordered to save time there is no way I would use this store. Embarrassing for your brand.

Very irritating trading hours- only has a sole employee on at a time.

Twice now I’ve gone in and seen it is closed with a sign up saying staff member is on break. This time I went in at 6.10pm on a Saturday and the sign said “staff member on break, be back at 7pm”….. great. Not going here again.

Worst bottle shop in Melbourne.. Please avoid at all costs.!!
You make the effort to go there.. To find it's closed because the staff member is on break. Bad form woolworths and google! I expected better from both of you and I'm quickly losing trust and will make sure my neighbours know to avid your business!

Very odd trading hours with only a 6-hour opening window each day – not including the "30 min" meal break that the sole employee takes. No wonder they have more stock than other stores – they're barely open enough to sell anything!

I drove all the way and was greeted with the below sign. Luckily, I caught him on the way out when he placed a second Post-It saying he'll be back at 5pm. I told him that I made a special trip to pick up my order (placed 3 days ago), and was illegally parked. He snipped at me that I was 'cutting into his break time', but obliged me with my order in the end.

Lesson learned: don't bother ordering here. At the very least, if BWS isn't going to have someone else fill in during the meal break (e.g. from the neighbouring Woolworths), the meal break should be published as part of the trading hours – i.e. 14:00-16:30; 17:00-20:00.

Live locally and not convinced this BWS is ever actually open. Doesn’t open until 2pm, store seems to be closed during peak times because staff are taking breaks and was there at 7:45pm the other night only to find it had already closed despite the the store saying it doesn’t close until 8pm.

Need to reassess this stores practices as currently it’s doing more harm than good in terms of affecting brand reputation.

Don’t even know why they have opening hours. They just ‘do their own thing’ according to the Woolies next door. I’ve been multiple times and there’s just been a sign saying they’ll be back at a certain time (sometimes 1+ hours from when I’m there) what’s the point? Went today at 3:15pm and their sign says open 2pm but guess what? They were closed! What a joke

Does not open as advertised. Have encountered the “will be back in xx minutes” many times. Please just hire another staff

Is never open, for all the people that go out of there way to travel there. Save yourself the frustration & go elsewhere
