A great spot to call into well maintained and great information before heading up to Cooktown clean tots BBQ areas sheltered water and even a tap for pets to have a drink. Some great sculptures as well

We stopped for a coffee & decided to try a BLT & thank goodness we did! It was the best sandwich we've ever had! So grateful as we have had so much badly made food lately & the coffee was just right! A must stop place. We will see you guys again. Thank you!

Great food, excellent service, multicultural staff awesome atmosphere

The Lakeland road house is the last stop when you can turn off to either the tip of Australia or Cooktown. You can buy fuel, takeaway, toilets and there's wheel chair access. There's even a large pull off area where your dog can have a walk and a 'widdle'. Friendly staff and a great service.

Absolutely the best food and service, not just in a 300km radius, but overall, the food here is delicious, and service is warm and friendly. Such a pleasure to stop through here every few weeks.

Staff were very friendly, meals were great, facilities very clean.
Staff also very honest, my wife left her handbag, money and cards at the roadhouse. We returned after 3 hours to find all intact. Big thank you to the staff for their honesty.

Holy cow batman. The food here lived up to its reputation. Massive burger at a killer price. Tasty AF with friendly service. Coffee was awesome too. Clean amenities and plenty of stuff to choose from to take with you on your drive. Also, heaps of space to park if you're towing a caravan or boat.

Hi all, well talk about a wonderful experience! Stopped to get some Diesel to continue on my way north to the tip of Australia. Had the most unexpectedly great meal. The staff well super professional and friendly. I don't often give out 5 stars without it being a excellent experience. Good fuel prices and great meals. Lovely spot to eat with great views.

Left my purse in the loo, went back 70 kms to recover, all contents and purse still there, had lunch refueled again. Great ride there twice in one day, must add loos we're clean and well serviced, much better than the side of the road. 👏😄

A great new informative pathway , sprinkled with art and history and facts covering the whole Cape York area.

This is a great roadhouse. Excellent food, clean toilets and showers, friendly staff... oh, and fuel. I see a lot of people whinning about the fuel price in the reviews... guess they forgot it's a reasonable distance from anywhere, and if you need fuel you need fuel. If you don't like the price... shop around. Buy a bottle of water before you leave looking for bargain fuel though. Just in case you run out before you get there 😉
I personally find their fuel price to be competitive with what's on offer at other remote fuel stops.

Great place to stop on the way up the cape. They have very friendly staff and the amenities are clean. Great food. Photo attached is the big breakfast with a flat white coffee

Best Bacon & Egg Sandwich I ever had. We just stopped quick to refill our fuel on the way to Mareeba and grab a sandwich. The staff is really nice and friendly.

Management have turned this place into an oasis. Everything is so clean. Try the BLT deluxe for a quick feed.

Very convenient place to take a break between Cooktown and Port Douglas. Lovely staff, very friendly service, and the food was great. The premises were very clean as well when we visited.
