Loch & Key

Dropped in on a drip back from Tarra Valley with our 3 pooches. Had a beautiful lunch in the outside courtyard,
We had the beef brisket burger and pulled pork burger, both really tasty.
Tamara served us with a specially made mandarin gin which was nothing like we had tasted before.
Finishing off now with a honeycomb brûlée and latte.
We will definitely be back

An unexpected pitstop brought us to Loch & Key but it won't be our last visit. Tamara welcomed us with a joyful attitude and wicked sense of humour even though we didn't have a booking on a busy sunny Sunday. We shared the BBQ tray and cauliflower poppers between three of us and everything was cooked to perfection and flavourful. We can't wait to return.

We had a lovely dinner at Loch & Key on Saturday night. The owner was so lovely and chatted to each table like we were regulars. There's a beautiful fireplace roaring in the corner, and the young team who were hosting were doing a fantastic job at making sure everyone was being served and looked after. The food was divine too... I couldn't fault a thing!
Highly recommend you stop in for lunch or dinner - but maybe make a booking as it's popular for dinner!

A very special cafe/restaurant. Delicious food, simple menu with great variety. There is something for everyone. The eggplant was delicious.
The staff were all very friendly and accommodating.
The kitchen stays open all day of the weekends, so you're not restricted to lunch and dinner times.

Fantastic food and friendly staff. We had the pea and ham soup, pot pie and duck fat potatoes.

Large selection of Gin as well as wine and spirits. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Small and large tables available. Well presented and modern.

Please note opening days and I would recommend booking as tables can fill quickly. Absolutely worth a visit if you are heading to Loch for the day.

Absolutely stunning with this place.. the food was delicious.. the atmosphere amazing.. beautiful people...from entreè, main and dessert... Perfecto!!

Stopped in for coffee and hot chocolates whilst on the road. Coffees and H/C’s were delicious. Chatted to one of the lovely owners, definitely recommend stopping in.

Went on Sunday night. I was very impressed with the food. Delicious. We ended up sharing a variety of entrees. The service was excellent with the food and drinks arriving on the table promptly. The house Margaritas were delish with an extra bite! We had the table near the fireplace which was super comfy. The lanterns and low key decor make for a cosy vibe. All in all highly recommend. I will definitely be back.

We are very lucky that Loch & Key is quite local to us and we can drop in anytime for great food, coffee, wine or cocktails.
Food has always been excellent and I love having a different gin to try every time I'm there.
Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

We brought our small baby with us and had a wonderful experience. Felt very welcomed. The staff were very accommodating and the food was amazing! Will definitely return.

We stumbled across this restaurant on our way to Invy and it was one of the best dinners I’ve had in a while. Amazing food, great service and we had the best time ( and so did our dog 😀) thank you for your hospitality and we will see you again soon! Highly recommend 🌟

Tamara, the boys in the kitchen and her team on the floor deserve a huge round of applause. We had no expectations coming here and boy did we get blown away. Not only is Tamara a very talented sommelier, her customer service is of a 5 star hotel standard with that country humble friendly feel. Her Gin collection is outstanding and the food from the boys in the kitchen is all locally sourced and you can tell. I highly recommended the lamb ribs, cauliflower poppers and my favourite the brown ale pudding. This place is a must if you are visiting the beautiful town of Loch but make sure you book.

We absolutely loved our meal and the ambience was cosy by the fire. We ordered the cauliflower poppers (think fried chicken! 😋), aranccini balls (the sauce was so rich in flavour), lamb with creamy mash and a delicious jus and beef brisket burger (amazing!)! So tasty. Will definitely come again!

Great dining experience at Loch and Key. Fabulous food and service. The food and drinks menus are well planned and very tasty. Reasonable prices and the service is excellent.
Excellent restaurant and I would recommend a visit to Loch to eat at Loch &Key.

Finally got around to buying the meatball take home meal that I'd seen advertised on the window and wished I'd bought it sooner! Loved the smokey sauce. 😋
This is a meal you heat up at home as opposed to a takeaway, ready to eat meal.
I was worried it wouldn't be enough as it says it serves 2 and I like my food, but once you cook some pasta to go with it, I was pleasantly surprised by how much it was. For $22 it was a bargain!
I'll be buying 2 the next time I'm in Loch. Might even try some of their other take home meals. Or I'll eat in if someone will join me....🤷‍♀

What a asset to South Gippsland

We were almost caught out with having to starve for the evening as we forgot that most kitchens close early in small town. But luckily the hostess catered for our late arrival and fed us beautiful food so we didn't have to go hungry

Stopped in Loch on my way to the Prom and was rewarded with a beautiful lunch at Loch & Key Restaurant. Food is fresh and seasonal, with professional and attentive service. Well worth the detour.
