Looking for somewhere in Merriwa for a late lunch 2 weeks ago, we stumbled upon the Patina & Bean coffee shop through google maps and was drawn by the photographs and reviews of others. On entry we were greeted warmly and later in conversation found he was one of the owners (Greg from memory).

Our first impression upon walking in was one of that similar to visiting your Nanna's house .. by that I mean, a friendly greeting upon arrival, a place kept clean and tidy with on old world charm to it and an anticipation of some good food with a hot coffee (or tea) ... in short 'A homely feel'.

The food did not disappoint, well presented and tasty. Ordered, were a Ham n Cheese toastie, a Panini melt and 2 old school chocolate milk shakes (these were awesome, the brain freeze not so ;) ). Not wanting to leave without something sweet and testing the coffee, opted for the home made lemon iced coconut bundt cake and a Latte ... both of which were awesome.

Have recommended this place to others and will certainly be doing a return visit.

So glad we made the stop at Patina & Bean for a much needed cuppa. Not only is the shop so mesmerisingly styled with unique furnishing, stunning greeneries and dried natives, Chris & Greg’s warm welcome to their space was so lovely. We ordered a coffee & a chai which were both delicious! Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic toasties and awesome Fish Roasters coffee. Lovely cafe and great footpath seating. Owners came out to have a chat and were highly informative and amusing. Great fun!

Coffee was amazing - we have just returned from 1 month in Italy and coffee was as good as I had there.

What a great little Cafe!! It's quirky and quaint and the food and drinks are delicious. Great service, too. We stopped for a quick break on a long trip. It was well worth it. Thanks Greg.

Best coffee in Merriwa. After travelling a few hours on the road, we we're very happy to stumble across this quaint cafe. Although no vegan items were on the menu, they bent over backwards to accomadate to create an excellent vegan bagel. Prices are more than reasonable. Lovely dried flowers and candles for sale too!

Friendly owners, great coffee by fish river roasters, excellent lunch. Highly recommended.

Stumbled across this cafe on the way through and just needing a drink, but I was hungry as always, so to me, I thought it said parmi well that gave it away the own definitely knew I was from Mexico 😅 I cant remember what I ate but will 100% be back.

This place is great in every respect .. just thought the Bacon 🥓 and Egg 🥚 rolls were a bit small and bacon under cooked. But we will definitely go back for a second try.😉

Finally got to stop in at this adorable cafe and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Do yourself a favour - the people and the coffee are equally excellent.
