Wildnest in the Capertee Valley is a hidden gem! The “tent” is amazing with your own kitchen, bathroom and a slow combustion fire in the tent! So much thought has been put into the furnishing of tent making it a wonderful relaxing environment! The bed was blissful! The scenery was always changing depending on the time of the day, the sunsets were breathtaking! Do yourself a favour and visit, you will not be disappointed!

What a special stay. This was a present for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was perfect and unique experience. The place is magical and isolated making you feel like you are in the middle of the nature. We were lucky to see a breathtaking sunset and sunrise from the bed and one night you could see the sky full of stars. Can’t get better than this. You can take a bath outside in nature, sleep on one of the best beds and play vinyl records and see kangaroos jumping outside. Once again thanks to Claire and Peter for a sweet gesture and a card, for all the coordinations and recommendations!

Simply beautiful! Claire and Peter have thought of everything to make our stay simply gorgeous. Their attention to detail made for an absolutely beautiful weekend away. An escape from our every day busy lives and an opportunity to reconnect. We cant wait to come back.
Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven!

What a fantastic location for a getaway! Luxurious and well appointed accommodation with stunning views and surrounds. We'll certainly be rebooking next time we go to the Capertee Valley. Highly recommended.

Such an idyllic retreat, and slice of heaven. Luxury glamping in some of Australia's most beautiful countryside.
Amazing views from the outdoor tub, beautiful fireplace and firepit and a record player to set the tone.
My partner and I spent 3 nights here in June and absolutely loved our getaway.
Being June, I have a tip from a winter perspective. I recommend bringing hot water bottles or even a little heater. We are seasoned campers and know our way around a fire very well, but we had to get up at least 4 times each night to get the fire going again because the tent was absolutely freezing. Unfortunately that did somewhat spoil our stay as with a toddler at home, sleep is something we definitely could have done with. Something the owners could consider perhaps is to provide a source of reliable heating during the colder months.
There is only 1 double power point in the entire tent, located in the kitchen, so I recommend bringing an outboard if required, but definitely an extension lead if you require things like CPAP machines in bed, or hair dryers in the bathroom.
The closest "corner store" is 15 minutes away, one way...a BP petrol station selling basic necessities. If you're planning to cook (which i recommend, because having your breakfast out on the deck is just perfect), the closest town with a small supermarket is 50 minutes away but unfortunately the tent only has quite a small bar fridge. To avoid multiple unnecessary trips, I'd recommend bringing an eski or better yet a camp fridge, which thankfully we had.
Last tip...the area is so tranquil and absolutely dead quiet, and the tents are not that far apart at all, and being tents you can hear absolutely everything so be mindful of the volume in your tent. Our neighbour's casual conversation could be heard very clearly when we were all in our own tents.
One big negative I found was the lack of privacy for the baths for both tents. The first tent's bath is in complete full view of the owners' home, and if those in that tent walk around their tent they'd be looking straight at the people in the tent behind in their tub. Very much overlooked, and as mentioned earlier, the tents are close together so that doesn't help the privacy issue either.
