Absolutely lovely place to stay, even if you are not ride horses. We just spent a night on our road tour back from Tasmania to Sydney in one of the tiny homes. We absolutely loved the hospitality of our hosts - the breakfast was incredible. Out dog went crazy seeing the wallabies close by and all the other animals.
Our only issue was the missing headroom in the "bedroom" on the upper half floor. In this respect the house was a bit too tiny for us.

Took our eldest daughter there for the picnic trail ride. She had a wonderful experience and loved every moment of it. Helen and her staff were so friendly and welcoming. Gonna have to go again.

The Saddle Camp is an amazing place with breathtaking views, clean well-equipped tiny houses – Helen and family were fantastic hosts.

We enjoyed horse riding and learning about the farm's history, and would highly recommend this unique holiday experience to anyone looking for a memorable stay. We'll definitely be back!

The host, Helen, was a true Aussie gem and treated us like family during our stay - making herself available and ensuring we were comfortable, yet providing us with a respectful privacy. Surrounded by nature, the location was awesome and was the perfect setting for both a tiny home and the adjoining riding camp with plenty of wildlife (and a couple of cute resident goats!) to admire around the property. Our family of four (with two primary-aged girls) absolutely loved our time there running around the paddocks and would highly recommend combining a stay in one of the tiny homes with one of the many horse-riding adventures on offer for kids to complete your experience in the great outdoors! Helen's warm & gentle nature and personal touches - like delicious homemade treats (also available at the Saddle Camp cafe) - were the cherry on top. Awesome weekend away, we'd love to come back!

Awesome stay! Hosted by the lovely family. Helen was amazing introducing the pony ride to my nervous 5yo girl. And you will enjoy the wildlife with the visit from Kangaroos.

I spent two nights in the tiny house within the saddle camp and it was amazing! I utterly enjoyed my stay and Helen's hospitality. The timeliness whenever I need help/information is truly incredible. It was very cold but thankfully the heater and everything kept me warm!

Went to The Saddle Camp and it was such a beautiful experience.

We camped there and the package also included breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert so everything was served with love and the food was simple but tasted really fresh.

About the horse riding, you will never get such a personalized experience with the horse if you don’t go there.

I highly recommend the Show Day Ride for kids 5yrs and older. Our kids loved it and Helen did a great job at teaching them how to enjoy and ride horses.

Once again thank you Helen and your family for the hospitality and beautiful weekend.

Helen and her team have a magnificent property just outside of Braidwood and they also provide an incredible experience. From introduction to booking to the camp, all interactions were fantastic. The camp is great value for money being all-inclusive and had our daughter go from never riding a horse to jumping in the arena. Incredible! If you are even thinking about Saddle Camp, contact Helen, have a nice Sunday drive and go and check it out for yourself. Well worth the effort. Oh, and help them out in these difficult drought times. Will be back soon!

This was the second visit to Saddle Camp by our daughter for a 2 hour Picnic Trail ride. Helen who runs Saddle Camp is one of the most friendly and enthusiastic people you will meet. Helen and team are well organised and equipment, instruction and safety are first rate. It’s a great riding experience in the countryside away from the hustle and bustle of city life and all at a very reasonable price. If you are lucky, you will also see some wild wallabies that have taken up residence at the property. Not to be missed if your kids already ride or would like to try horse riding.

We spent a lovely 2 nights in Tiny Home #1.

Helen’s communication and instructions were super easy to follow and we loved that this property is only 10minutes away from Braidwood and just over an hour from Canberra where we are so we didn’t suffer massive car fatigue.

It is a nice peaceful spot with lots of kangaroos around. The house itself is very functional and beautiful. We found everything we needed and tended to eat out in town. The addition of tea/coffee bd cookies were very welcome :).

The shower was bigger than we thought ! And very hot water. Compost toilet worked like a treat. Love the idea of saving water. The bed was very comfortable and the aircon gave us comfort.

As others mentioned being in the bush we did have some moths, flies, and spiders but to be expected and nothing to be afraid of.
