All the food was perfect! And I mean everything we ate, the staff, the style …

Relaxed, casual dinner spilling onto the street scape of Margaret River…just like an osteria should.
Arancini were the best we ever had, but just rice, not soggy & heavy but light and filled with delicious food, crunchy to bite.
Main - the pasta was superb. That is it! Superb. Hand made, tasted like silky strains of goodness soaked in moreish sauce!
Simple salad was such a crunchy affair with an incredible balsamic vinaigrette…with a twist of 36 hrs reduction of Pinot Nour musk to add some sweetness and weight.

Chef Giovanni said hello, Alicia looked after us like we are kings, the whole experience was just like a sun filled Italian evening - warm and relaxed and memorable.

Amazing food!!. Truly authentic Italian. Tiramisu was the highlight. One of the best we have ever had. The staff is also amazing and nice and accommodating. The whole atmosphere felt like a very homely neighbourhood Italian joint. The ingredients were fresh and no shortcut in cooking . Everything seemed home made . Would definitely recommend this place .

Food here is phenomenal. Homemade pasta tastes authentic and hearty, some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had.

This is a local gem, I called in for a light lunch to share with my hubby. We chose Aranchini, a slice of Cotto Pizza and a smoked salmon bagel. All fresh, packed with flavour and exactly what we wanted. Staff are super friendly and attentive. Can't wait to return to try the pasta as I have been told by many that it's amazing. Great addition to the main street. 👏

The food was genuinely the best Italian I have ever had. I had both dinner and dessert here and it was truly incredible. The staff were incredibly kind, professional and friendly, their positive attitudes being contagious. This restaurant was absolutely lovely and I would come here another million times.

After spending a number of day in the Margaret River/ Yallingup area we found the South West's best coffee by far (and believe me we had visited quite a few). Not only was Spot Italian the best coffee we had, the service, food and friendliness of the staff was exceptional. Well worth a visit.

My kids and got takeaway and went to the river mouth for sunset. The food was great and hit the spot. I have been coming to Margaret River for years and there has never been a high quality easy takeaway without paying top prices or setting for fish and chips or generic pizza.
I hope the Spot Italiano thrives for many years to come. I highly recommend it!

Cozy, tasty and very friendly. Handmade pasta is delicious

Three days in MR and 3 meals - afternoon coffee and cake, evening meal of pasta and lunchtime focaccia. All were very good, pasta better, less expensive and more relaxed than it's competitor down the hill. Very friendly service. Highly recommended

The most beautiful lasagne I have ever tasted. This restaurant is a gem, the owner is the most classy Italian ever. Cosy cool place to enjoy having italian food. A must try indeed. I hope they open a branch in Perth.

My fettuccine bolognese and my wife's pumpkin gnocchi were both delicious.
We finished with THE best coffees (cappuccinos), cake and gelato.
Remember to BYO if wanting wine though as not licensed to sell.

We tried the chocolate mousse and the strawberry tart, they were both amazing. The coffee tasted great but most importantly the service was amazing. They are very efficiemt, friendly, and professional at the same time. Apparently they make their own pasta, we will try it next time.

As good as Pasta gets! Went back for a second visit with a party of 8 and everyone was blown away by the homemade Pasta… The Grandkids, initially shocked to see no Nuggets & Chips on the menu, loved the Lasagne and cleaned their plates! BYO is rare but great to find these days.

this place is fookin amazing! when walking my greyhound at night i noticed this was the only eatery that didn't have that old oil smell that taints the australian air (in cape town it is illegal to use cooking oil more than twice so i sure know the difference in taste (and smell) of a meal cooked with fresh/second-hand oil). that said, this meant i had to try this little cafe on my first luncheon out in years. have to say, for someone that is a complete foodie and eats usually her own home-grown goodies at home, our meals were excellent. the pasta was succulent and squishy yum yum (had the pumpkin gnocchi and my friend had the pasta bolognaise); the garden salad was fresh (very unexpected when one picks his/her own from the garden on a daily basis and eats within minutes); the great choice of tai mardi icecream and the BESTEST chocolate mousse EVER. it doesn't sound it but i am the most difficult person to feed. i eat anything but rarely do i find an eatery nowadays that serves FRESH, no oily after-taste, delicious grub. thanks so much. service with a smile. all staff were friendly and the ambience perfect - we ate at 3.30pm so i bet the evenings are even better.

I don't usually write reviews. Spent 5 days in Margaret River, had the pasta for lunch here, and returned twice more because the Focaccia sandwiches are so good. I'm a barista and the coffee is also spot on. Service is to the point, efficient, and ambience is relaxed.

For what The Spot is, it does everything 10/10. Quality every time, can't fault it. Better than going to any cafés round the corner (as nice as they are too!).

The most beautiful delicious coffee I’ve had in a very very long time, and it was lactose free! It was Perfect 👌🏽

Eight of us (four adults & four kids) had a fantastic meal at The Spot on Friday night. Great service by the staff and all eight can’t wait to go back!

Focaccias are to die for and coffee hits the spot. Such friendly service here too. A cafe like this is just what the main street in Margaret River needed.
