Griffiths Island Reserve Track

Great walk in Port Fairy.
*Note: we only took the North track*

From the carpark access to Griffith Island, we crossed a causeway, which pointed us to two different paths. Travelling with a stubborn teen and a mostly sedentary adult, we took the shorter, less strenuous northern track. Great leisurely walk along the Moyne River, before we again got to decide whether to take a gravel track or walk along the beach. We chose the latter, which took us across a lovely quiet beach with white sands. The lighthouse was great - picturesque.

A bit rocky on the gravel - not sure if it would be stroller / wheelchair friendly.

Overall, a great walk!

GO here!!!! We saw 25 wallabies over our walk. Not exaggerating. Going at sunset (as we did) or sunrise is the best time to see them but they are everywhere. Make sure to keep quiet to be respectful to them!

Very pretty walk to the light house with lots of wildlife.

Beaming with marine life and small kangaroos.

A few bench seats along the walking track with some shade would be great.
