Kermond's Hamburgers Port Fairy

Kermonds Hamburgers are famous throughout Western Victoria. I first tried them 55 years ago in Warrnambool, and Port Fairy now boasts an outlet with the same mouthwatering burger varieties.

I have been taking my friend into the shop for a burger and lime spider 3 times now. She is very happy to go in in her gofer and eat comfortably. The staff are very nice and welcoming.

Cheerful staff. How nice it was to receive a hamburger with the lot, with fresh ingredients. Good serve of chips. Order received in prompt time, and delivery with a cheerful smile, as we waited on an outside table. Thankyou.

So good the Warrnambool icon has opened in Port Fairy. Old school, delicious burgers, step back to the 1950s with your meal while enjoying the 1850s architecture around town.

Great food and customer service. Compliments to the warm and friendly staff and to the chef for the fantastic food. Looking forward to returning to your shop.

Two things. Firstly, the kids had the junior burger and they absolutely loved it, which is an infrequent event. We also loved our burgers with the lot (very similar to Andrews in Albert Park)

But, burgers don't come with cheese and it's $1.50 extra. That's madness. I discovered this moments before paying, thankfully. But I imagine many don't and are unnecessarily disappointed. Burgers without cheese is like pizza without, well cheese.

Burgers are average (compared to what you can get in Melbourne) but the staff is nice. Good place for takeaway . The dining room is a bit sad. We went there on Saturday night and a few hangover teenagers were there, which didn't help with the vibe. The kids loved the burgers though.
