Historic site of the convict built and originaly worked by convict labour drawing the punt across the Esk River. Ordered built by Governor Lachlan Macquarie....who went onto to name the growing township Perth for the birthplace of local settler, David Gibson, who was from Perth Scotland. A basic picnic area and pubic restrooms on site. Plenty of ducks for kids to feed.
