Casanova’s Sourdough Bakery & Cafe

We had a superb breakfast at Casanova's in Braidwood this morning. I had the "Potato rosti, chorizo, romesco Poached eggs, guindilla, chives" and Deb had the "French toast, ricotta, poached pear, candied pecan, dulce de leche" both were well cooked, my eggs were perfectly pouched, with nice e funny yokes. I added a side of pancetta which was cooked nicely crispy. Next time I will add another side to add some sweetness, like their onion relish. The coffees were also excellent.

Brilliant cafe for Saturday morning fresh sour dough and pastries for take away, or dine in brekkies.

Top service, gentle atmosphere, full of friendly locals and visitors.

Highly recommend as the best bakery in Braidwood.

Exceptionally good food. Lovely sour dough base aubergine pizza, fab nduja pizza and cauliflower, hummus on sour dough toast. super friendly service. Really great. Highly recommended.

When this was the high light of my partners week-long get away it must be saying something! 😅 absolutely lovely place. The decor and food was amazing. I am definitely road tripping it back for another French toast. 😁🤤

My partner and I and our son tried the pizzas at Casanova's for the first time on our trip from Canberra to Nowra. Ordered at Queanbeyan and they were ready when we arrived in Braidwood. Absolutely delicious. Amazing crust and toppings. These guys know how to make pizza. Can't believe we never knew about this place. You wouldn't know it was there if not for Google. And no wonder they get such good reviews. All our pizzas were good. We will be back.

Love stopping off here on our trips to and from the coast. Yummy (very) fruity fruit toast, gorgeous (& generous) croissants, always interesting & changing menu. Great atmosphere and pleasant sunny courtyard.

What a terrific destination for a day trip, or on your way to the coast from the Southern Highlands, or Canberra!
The owners are ex Sydney and have brought the Inner West atmosphere and menu to this corner of the country!

Best cafe in Braidwood, 100% must stop in if passing through or come for a road trip. The pizzas are amazing (hand stretched, wood fired), great quality and not what you'd expect from a cafe, more what you'd expect of a restaurant. Was told the chocolate milk is unbelievable, my fried cauliflower toast was pretty yummy. Coffees were great too. Great outdoor space for groups and dogs combined. Definitely a winner in many ways.

Top bakery. Top coffee. The croissant was flakey and buttery, one of the best I've had. The pizzas were delicious.

I am now stopping in Braidwood every time I drive through and will detour through Braidwood just to visit this place.

The seeded bread loaf is possibly the best bread I have ever eaten. The croissant is the best in town. They do great coffee and dinner on a Friday night has yummy entrees and delicious pizza.

Had both pizza on a Friday night and breakfast.
Pizza was exceptional, we had the potato and the salami, followed by the salted caramel dessert.
Breakfast was also awesome, polenta and eggs, the chill scramble.

Absolutely beautiful waffles, stunning decor, lovely music, staff friendly and professional. Coffee excellent. Wait time was a bit long as they were not busy, but farout the food was worth it.

Delicious fresh food, good prices, fast and good service. Family friendly, large spaces for wide pram access.

Stopped by for takeaway coffees, a pizza roll and a cinnamon scroll. Holy hell, I thought the pizza dough was good, then I tried the cinnamon scroll. Cannot describe how incredibly tasty the pastry is. This place will now become my regular when I stop in Braidwood :)

It was our first visit to Casanova's cafe+ bakery and we just loved it!The service was very friendly and menu is gourmet and so delicious with veg options.We sat in the gorgeous sunny courtyard which reminded us of nona's garden,a beautiful atmosphere and it is pet friendly so that everyone can enjoy Casanova's.We love it here and we will definitely return again. Conveniently located with lots of parking on Wallace street.We highly recommend this 5 star cafe!

Had a perfect pizza here yesterday.

Grabbed a carrot cake on my way out even though I don’t usually like carrot cake but it looked so beautiful. It was delicious.

Incredible - we ordered an assortment of pastries, sourdough and turkish breads and tarts for a function and our guests all raved about how they were the best baked goods they've had! Such a great little spot on the main street of Braidwood with a lovely courtyard - the sourdough pizzas are excellent too! We'll be back xx

Awesome place for breakfast. Got the scrambled eggs which were a real treat. Good coffee and friendly service. If its nice you can sit outside. They also do pizzas for lunch which a we will have to come back and try. Will be back Casanova!
