Excellent food. Quality is the same as what you would get at any nice cafe in the cities… yet this is a place in a small town at the top of a mountain!

Check out the Benedict on croissant. Nice touch with the croissant instead of the usual sourdough. The hollandaise sauce is particularly nice and the poached eggs are perfectly cooked.

Atmosphere and location very nice on a nice day.

Hubby and I spent our time yesterday here.The staff / owner are very helpful and very approachable.The food was served hot and fresh.Quick assistance and served with a smile.Plenty of restaurants,bar near here and this place is near to Mt.Tamborine sight seeing views.There's plenty of accommodation near by too,if your looking forward to spend a night or few nights in this location.Very highly recommended to all who wanna visit Mt. Tamborine ❤

Hubby and I turned up and had a look at the menu, was told it would be a 40 minute wait. So we went across the road and then thought we actually liked the look of there food. So we went back to be told there would be a 30min wait. I said to the lovely man at the counter can we go to the waterfall, he said yes sure and they will call me when they were ready to prepare our meal. First phone call I got was at the bottom of the waterfall and I asked can they wait another 20 minutes. He insisted and then second phone call in we were already up the top he asked me again is it ok if they prepare our meal. I said certainly, his mannerism was really polite on the phone like nothing was a hassle. And by the time we got back there only waited acouple of minutes. Now that is top service.
We appreciated and didn’t feel rushed. Everything went smoothly. The food was absolutely yum. Hubby got an eggs benne on a croissant with salmon with a Vanilla Milkshake and I got the granule with yoghurt with a Mango Smoothie with coconut Milk which was absolutely Devine.

Nestled on the mountain, Wild Plum Kitchen is a true gem! During our visit to Gallery Walk, my family and I decided to stop for lunch based on the glowing Google reviews - and we were thrilled with our choice. The food at Wild Plum Kitchen is not only beautifully presented but also perfectly balanced in flavours and textures, with portion sizes that suited our preferences. The staff, incredibly friendly and upbeat, added to the delightful vibe of our day trip. Though we just left a few hours ago, we are already looking forward to returning to sample more of their dishes. A must try is their chocolate brownie - it is absolutely divine and the perfect way to end a meal. Highly recommended!

Phenomenal food, amazing service! You have to try the savoury mince and the French toast. Also the coffee is excellent. A real gem in tamborine!

We came on a Tuesday but the cafe gets pretty full by 10am. Halloumi burger and pear salad are both tasty. Coffee is strong that I like. Will return.

This is easy one of the best coffee place on Tamborine mountain, great food, quick, responsive and friendly staff.
It might benefit with a different design of the shop and the signs, cause you don't associate the name with a place that serves breakfast.
So yes a bit of an underrated gem, definitely a place to come.

Limited seating inside but warm and comfortable there on this cold morning :) Plenty of seating outside and heaters are there but weren’t on today. Very good coffee and lovely quick service too. Nice ambience too.

Popped in for brunch. We chose Wild Plum because the reviews were great, and were not disappointed.

Huge servings for great value prices. Warm and friendly service. Quick wait times. Food was delicious!!

Yummy! It’s a family owned business that pays attention to detail. We were there on the weekend and a child sat out the front with her bike, through our meal, each member of the family took turns to visit her- it was heart warming.
On to the food- average price but strong attention to detail in the layers of flavours.

Was craving something sweet, that needed to be gluten free. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They had a nice selection of gluten free goodies all made on site. Will definitely be back again! Highly recommend this place 😊

Brilliant Eggs Benedict done right hollandaise sauce fresh n warm. Worth the drive up the mountain just for eggs Benny. Cafe gorgeous and staff warm and welcoming. We will be back 🥰

Wanted to surprise the wife with a croque monsieur. Was a favourite childhood meal for her. Been a few years since I had one myself. We both enjoyed our croque monsieur. We thanked the Chef/Cook. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. We then spent the next few hours walking around, visiting the nearby shops. Great day out, and the time was well spent. Will visit again, even if it's just for the croque monsieur

Probably one of the only establishments on Mt Tambourine that doesn't have the classic "tourist tax" levied above their regular prices. My partner and I enjoyed an excellent (and not overly expensive) feed here to start the day. The coffee was damn fantastic, and the service was great. Keep it up :)

As locals we visit this cafe regularly because it has two things that are very desireable - delightful, competent and truly caring staff who always greet with big, cheerful smiles and proper fresh real food made from terrific ingredients that are prepared when ordered - not sitting stale in warmers as sadly some cafes do. It is absolutely true that sometimes patrons are told politely that it may take 30 minutes for your order to arrive; but that is because it is being made fresh for you and we appreciate that - I would rather be respected and told the truth than placated with a meaningless "it shouldn't be long" platitudes. This is a place for great food and lovely people, that is the reason it is so popular with locals and visitors alike! (incidentally, we have never had to wait more than 15minutes for our food, even on days where the cafe is full to bursting). It really is well worth the visit if quality food and delicious flavours in a clean, comfortable setting are what you are looking for...

The tacos here WILL change your life! They were one of the most amazing meals i have ever had and that is no exaggeration - definitely pay extra to get the three! Great friendly service and the kids meals seemed to be a hit with choice of pancakes or ham and cheese sandwich. We also sampled the vegie burger that was delicious too, full of flavour and just right. Can’t recommend this place more highly..!

Looking for a top spot for a scone on the mountain. May have found it. Nice and fresh. It was date so that’s a bonus! Jam was nice, but nothing spectacular. A little light in the cream. I love cream, could have done with twice the amount as the whipping made it very light. I understand that it’s easy to get regular jam and cream. But if the jam was made/sourced locally, and advertised that way. And the cream was a bit thicker and more of it. Heaven!

Great little cafe, the service was exceptional, very welcoming. The food presentation had WOW factor (treat the kids to the pancakes) and was fresh and yummy! Reasonably priced, definitely be back next time we are up the mountain.
