I took my whippersnipper to Ian, and came back 4 days later and he had fixed it, and even put some petrol in it to get it going for me.

Bought mower blades here , around 30 % cheaper than bunnings. Blades i got are australian made.

I could have bought 2 primer bulbs and four 1m lengths of fuel hose from E_Bay for $10 but I thought I'd give our local repairer my patronage, WHAT A FREAKING RIP OFF!!! 2 short plastic hoses and one primer bulb, he charged me $25. Sorry Ian but you just don't deserve my custom. The only reason you even get one star is to complete the post.

Had a read of some of these reviews and I was surprised to hear that I had exactly the same issues. I dropped in a stihl chainsaw for assessment. I rang for several weeks in a row and he hadn't attended to it. I finally went in over a month later and it was dismantled in a box. He said it couldn't be repaired. I took it to my usual guy out at Woodend who was able to fix it but many of the parts were missing. He suggested he had borrowed these parts for other repairs. I would have to warn against this guy.

Woeful. Dropped a whipper snipper in for a "free repair quote" that was supposed to take 4 days, get stuffed around for over a month with no quote. Went in to pick the whipper snipper up as he clearly didn't want the work, only to get the machine back in 20 bits in a cardboard box and the motor completely disassembled. I didn't even get a quote as he was "too busy".
I dropped the machine in all its disassembly to a very helpful repairer who put it back together and ordered the faulty part, but when he did it was missing the fuel tank, air filter elements and case, and there were nuts and bolts in the box that didn't belong to my machine.
Went back 4 times to try to get my parts back that he had kept, eventually not leaving the shop until I had them. Dodgy and totally incompetent.

Extremely disappointing, 4 months of waiting with out a call, three visits to get a completion date to repair a petrol compressor carby, and throttle, could not complete the job and didnt even have the courtesy to call me. very unprofessional, very out dated, when questioned about why he hadnt called me he laughed.
How is this guy still in business

After taking Line Trimmer for repair , I gave up. Picked it up and took it somewhere else after 6 weeks. Every week was told will do it this week with no return calls.

Just wanted to come to get my mum's Mowers Serviced walked 3.5k from Essendon and find out its closer on Mondays what a joke. Bad business 0 stars for me
