Soldiers Memorial Park

It's a nice country town stop In for a coffee and a bite. Go for a leisure walk see the sites. Old memorial soldiers.

Small but great park. Good for kids.

Very well kept, reverent yet friendly place. The memorial head stones are poignantly set with names rank and dates clearly marked. There are seats to sit and reflect or test and have a cuppa with the soldiers who haven't come home or who couldn't stay. Next door is a play area with a rubbish bin set far enough away so as to not be a health hazard. Add toilets and this would be THE best place. Behind is the bowls club, in front a bakery. And to the side parking with trees for shade.

Impressive memorial to recent campaigns and includes a rare acknowledgement of the contribution of our war dogs.

Lovely set out memorial to our fallen soldiers & dogs. Includes plaques, benches, speakers podium and a German Made Tank (1977-2007)

Great little playground. Almost fully enclosed, there is a small section where you can go behind the War memorial to get out but kids wouldnt notice this unless shown.

Lots of shade, really well looked after, we visit this playground almost weekly

Granddaughter loved the playground but wasnt a secure park as only fenced 3/4 way around
