Last week we purchased a Boston Terrier puppy from Sylvia. He is very healthy, has a beautiful, happy, friendly personality and is responding well to basic training. After 2 days he already knows how to sit.

He has already become a loved and valued member of the family, and he absolutely adores our 9 month old baby.

We are very happy with our dog, and when we can take him to puppy training classes, we expect that he will do extremely well. He is very intelligent and eager to please.

Our experience with La Exotica has been a good one, and I don’t believe they deserve a bad reputation. Sylvia seemed professional and knowledgeable and offered to keep in touch and help us with any future issues. (But I do not believe that we will have any issues because the dog is intelligent, healthy and sweet-natured.)

Update: October 2023

Cujo is an absolute gem of a dog. He is full of energy, enthusiasm and has so much personality. He just turned one and is starting to turn into a real cuddle bug.

He is best friends with our 18 month old daughter and is very gentle with her.

He is in perfect health and has had no health or behavioural issues.

We definitely made the right decision getting our dog from La Exotica.

Lovely people so caring, we purchased our girl after she retired from breeding. She has been a lovely addition to our family.
They are definitely NOT a puppy farm how anyone can compare them to one is unjustified and completely incorrect. We are hoping to add another of their retired adult dogs to our family soon. We have had our girl for just over 4 years and she has been a perfect fit.

My husband and I bought our beautiful female Boston Terrier from La Exotica Kennels nearly 2 years ago, the service was so professional, but so friendly, the quality of the whole experience was exceptional, we could not have asked for any better, we cannot wait until we buy our next pup from Sylvia. Our girl is extremely healthy and she has given our family so many fun times, both our dogs, come away with us in our caravan. I am so happy that I found La Exotica Kennels and Boston Terrier's, they are so much fun and have the energy of an every ready battery. Sylvia at La Exotica has by far exceeded our expectations. We picked our Staffy pup up on Thursday 9/2/23. Nudge is perfect in every way. He is confident yet independent and intelligent, he plays well with his two new fur brothers but doesn't rely on them for company. He has slept through the night from when we come home and shows absolutely no signs of separation or other anxieties.

We have bought two Italian greyhound girls from La Exotica, one just recently and the other nine years ago. Both dogs are the sweetest I've ever known. Our recent puppy is so happy and well socialised, instantly taking to us all and snuggling up to our other dog. It's clear they've had a beautiful home with Sylvia before us. Post-delivery care has been great, with a check in to make sure all went well with getting her delivered. I'll never buy from another kennel than La Exotica.

We purchased our Boston Terrier from La Exotica some weeks ago and could not be any happier with the whole experience.
From the initial inquiry to arriving in my arms after a flight to Perth, Sylvia was extremely professional, very approachable and very responsive to all my queries.
Bosley our Boston arrived in great health and has since proven to be a confident, well adapted, intelligent boy who has quickly become a much loved family member. I would highly recommend Sylvia and La Exotica to anyone looking for a healthy puppy and a hassle free transaction.

Let me dispel any of the trash rumours of this establishment being a puppy farm. My entire experience with La Exotica was nothing but professional and above board from the initial contact. From communication, willingness to show photos and videos of the establishment and environment. I was provided regular updates and photos of my pup, from the day she was born, right up until she was put on the plane. She is now 20 months old and an absolute credit to the breeding standards involved at La Exotica. Beautiful, well adjusted and true to Staffordshire standard. She has received nothing but the highest compliments and remarks from all of the professionals she has been shown to (those that actually know what they are talking about), and is a class favourite at our Veterinary clinic. I would not hesitate in recommending La Exotica to anyone !

I purchased my Staffy from Laexotica one year ago. He has just had his first bday and he is a gentle, well adjusted dog. He has a great personality and loves all humans and other dogs. From the moment I made contact I was given updates and sent photos as I live in Melbourne. The pedigree papers were sent to me. Transport was arranged for me and was stress free. I chose Laexotica because my son had purchased a beautiful Staffy six years earlier from them and he is also a wonderful good natured dog

I was lucky to find this registered SA breeder after being unsuccessful finding one in WA. My Italian Greyhound puppy arrived safe and sound, and she is now 12 months old and thriving. I can’t thank Sylvia enough for her professionalism, kindness and patience while I asked a myriad of questions. The photos she provided of the environment the puppies enjoy, running free on the grass, gave me peace of mind that they are well looked after until old enough to go to their forever homes. I was also provided with a pack which included vaccination records, microchip details and 2 months’ complimentary insurance. Also in the pack were instructions on what to feed her and when, for the various puppy stages. Registration papers arrived in the mail. Oh, and my puppy has a night light as that’s what she was used to at La Exotica. Sylvia truly does love her Italian Greyhounds and only wants them to go to good homes. Thank you La Exotica!

It's been many years since my dealings with La Exotica Kennels but they were all so positive and I will be forever grateful to them for giving me the best Stafford I have ever owned.
My Tori girl was such a gentle pocket rocket,the most beautiful natured Staffy and our whole family loved her to bits.
The whole process was simple and easy with Nala being flown to Sydney from S.A
I will never forget that day when I first seen her in person.
From that day my heart was full 💓
When I lost Tori on the 13th June 2021 a piece of heart died with her and till this day I still shed tears when she crosses my mind.

We purchased a staffy puppy from Sylvia and she is just the most beautiful, healthy puppy with a gorgeous temperament. We finally picked up our beautiful blue English Staffy pup from La Exotica last night, and we love her.
Sylvia was great to deal with, her professionalism is outstanding, but more importantly she really loves her dogs and takes great care of them.
We couldn’t fault our experience, Sylvia kept us up to date throughout the pregnancy, and gave us some great tips on toilet training, feeding etc when we picked her up (and we considered ourselves ‘experienced’ dog owners, you can never learn enough!).

I would definitely recommend purchasing your next new family member from La Exotica Kennels.

Wow! An excellent experience dealing with Sylvia for our adult Stafford. She is everything Sylvia described her to be.
All details including flight to Newcastle were done as promised.
The papers were delivered as promised 3 days after pick up from the airport.
Couldn’t speak highly enough of Sylvia and the whole experience.

From the moment I spoke to Sylvia on the phone I felt at ease knowing we would be getting a dog from a caring breeder. She genuinely cares about who takes her dogs home, which I absolutely appreciate. Easy and professional process. We love our feisty little Boston baby and he and our senior Boston are finally becoming friends. Thank you Sylvia, please know that little George has a great home and great life here.

I have two La Exotica English Staffys. The older one was a retired breeder and is one of the most beautiful dogs I have ever come across. I believe Sylvia genuinely loves her dogs as she even asked to visit Montana to make sure she had settled in her new home. Two years later, we got a puppy from Sylvia, who is Montana's granddaughter. Both dogs are very happy and healthy.

Seven years ago we met Sylvia when we met our blue staffy. We could not have asked for more which was why when we decided to expand our blue staffy family the only breeder even worthy of our considersation was La Exotica. The dogs were so well looked after and all the support we could possibly ask for. If I could give 6 stars I would. The dogs are pawfect family members we are very happy ❤🐶

Received the most wonderful pup with the best nature from this kennel, he is great with kids an a fantastic pal . Sylvia was so helpful in getting Archie to us even in the middle of a pandemic. Recommend to anyone ace dogs.
