Koolaanga Waabiny Playground

Great new all inclusive playground for kids of all ages. I love how they have dedicated toddlers section as well as the board walk around the larger taller kids structure to encourage adults and younger ones to join in. Was still under construction late last year. So great to have this new addition to Mandurah.

If you have children, having a beach day is now even better in Mandurah. We spend a few hours at Kings Carnival (mini golf) and later to calm this heat, we've enjoyed the calming waters (no waves) of the floating jetty and last not the least, the train 👌🏻

Later, after a family walk, we've discovered this new park, which has everything you need to entertain all age children 😀

There is an area for small /medium size children which is fenced and next to it, a big high structure for bigger children (not fenced), just a few meters away, there is a big skate park for all ages, which includes toilets.

Around the area, there are free BBQ machines, tables, and a big "footy" field (full of green grass, which still looks green 😀) to enjoy ball games or whatever you want to play with family and friends. There is plenty of parking (including disability) next to Kings Carnival. From there, it is a walking distance to access the jetty and the park.
There are plenty of roads as well for bikes, scooters, and wheel chairs

Certainly, we can not complain. There is so much to do at Mandurah this summer season. Later, you can enjoy some fish and chips, crossing the bridge 😉

Beautiful, well maintained activity park to visit near Mandurah war memorial.

Beautiful new playground with a tall structure and vantage point from the top. Kids love it and had great fun doing hide and seek vertically. Slide was steep, dark and mysterious but a little tight/acute. Lots of shades in the structure. Even comes with a binocular at the top capsule and a voice tunnel at the other capsule. Bbq facilitates, restrooms and skate park all right beside with sufficient parking too. Recommended!

Our 3 year old had a great time and it was a great place with good views to spend a few hours. The public toilets were well maintained.

First visit and we were impressed. Great place for kids & adults. Lots of shade, covered BBQ area well maintained ablution block. Designated swimming area and just a really good vibe. Handy to take a trolley for all your gear and can be a hike if you can't get a spot close by.

Great climbing structure both for young and old, clear views across.
Fully fenced.
Water fountains
Variety of play and nature play that actually works to engage toddlers safely, in reality.
Shelters with BBQs.
Plenty of parking all the way to western foreshore car park.
Bring swim gear if you want a dip off the jetty just in front.
Some shade, some sun, waterfront views even from inside playground.
Skate park nearby entertains everyone
Well lit at night. Bridge lights up nighttime.
What's not to like day or night? More modern than most of WA. Get a view of the Fire Festival also.

What an incredible playground for kids. The gated playground for younger kids next door was a surprise too.

New and wonderful playground right next to a huge skate park! (includes a basketball area), Barbecue's toilet facilities and family seating available for a wonderful day out with the kids! :)

Great playground space, kids were entertained for ages running around in the closed off area and in the larger playground.
Definitely bringing the kids back soon.
