Milo Cafe and Store

Friendly service, Great options for Breakfast. Monday morning we ordered a Mug of coffee and Tofu Scrambled egg with slow Roasted Tomatoes. The breakfast pie looked too good to wait for lunch so that was ordered too.

The coffee was a welcome start to the day as we eagerly await our food.

The Tofu Eggs were devoured and the Slow Roasted Tomatoes made for a perfect side. The cheesy Vegetable pie was very good.

I recently had the pleasure of dropping off my dog, Popcorn, for a much-needed grooming session after her relentless chicken poop adventures.

With an hour and a half to spare, I decided to explore the local scene and found myself at Milo Cafe & Store on High Street, Maryborough, thanks to a quick Google search.

From the moment I walked in, Milo Cafe & Store charmed me with its spotless and inviting atmosphere. The all-day menu was a delightful surprise, boasting an impressive variety of drinks and dishes.

I was particularly tempted by the smoothie options, which came in five different flavours, not to mention the additional hemp protein powder option. Their beverage selection was equally extensive, featuring chai, monk chai, organic tea, coffee, iced coffee, and a range of milk choices.

Although the big brekky, with its tofu scramble, bacon, slow-roasted tomatoes, house-made beans, confit mushrooms, spinach, avocado, and gluten-free sourdough bread, called out to me, I decided to stick with a lovely mug of almond cappuccino.

As I sipped my delicious coffee, I couldn't help but admire the cosy atmosphere and the inviting shop display filled with unique gifts. The lady who served me was a gem, offering top-notch service with a warm smile and patiently answering all my questions about the cafe's history and prices.

I found a perfect spot on a stool by the big window overlooking the bustling main road. Surrounded by magazines on healthy eating, I was tempted again by the menu's offerings, particularly the French toast with poached pear, vanilla yoghurt, maple syrup, and pistachio crumble, and the avo, pea, and mint smash on sourdough bread with roasted zucchini, vegan Persian feta, house-made dukkha, rocket, and lemon.

Just as I was about to give in to my cravings, my phone rang with news that Popcorn's grooming was finished. Reluctantly, I left the delightful ambience of Milo Cafe & Store.

This cafe is a gem with its great location, delicious coffee, and warm service. Kudos to the owners! I'll definitely be back for that tempting brekky.

VEGAN! Exceptional first experience dining, ordered French toast, Turkish roast veg toastie, ice chocolate and smoothie. Amazing playing. The best about this cafe is the people, very friendly and helpful to work out what suits our dietary (eg. Onion, garlic). Support these people,

Stumbled in for some takeaway coffees whilst visiting the area over Christmas/New Year, without realizing it was a vegan cafe - until the milk options were given! My heart sank a little, but I went ahead and ordered an oat piccolo, and oat latte for my wife.

I'm a coffee head, and I have to say, they were the best coffees by some margin we had on our two week visit to Victoria, and I would happily make this my go-to if I was from the area (vegan and all)!

Milo Cafe was a great surprise. Nice to have a vegan Cafe in a rural town. Staff were friendly and the food was fantastic! Highly recommended 👌

Delicious fresh salads that rotate daily. I ate here 3 times in a row while in Maryborough for work recently and was so pleased to find a local cafe with lovely outdoor dining serving a fabulous variety of tasty delicious foods. The pearl barley and chickpea salad was my favourite. I hope Milo Cafe is well supported by its local community as it’s offerings are superb!

Good food, good coffee, what more could you ask for? I love the back dining area - so simple, but nice for a sunny day. Definitely a surprise to find a new vegan joint in a town I have been visiting for years.

Best scramble I've had in ages. Was tofu scramble but better than any egg scramble I've had in yonks. Also delicious gf bread and gf snickers bar.
Clean, tidy, quick, polite.

100% vegan and nearly everything was also gluten free or had the option to be made GF, it was so delicious and staff were very nice and accommodating.

Great food and coffee. Staff are friendly and helpful! I am definitely coming back here!

Burrito and Roast veggie focaccia were taste bud tingling terrific, and the espresso was 10/10
