Truffle Pig

Second time I’ve come here and again it exceeded my expectations. I’m not from the area but was travelling on a road trip 2 years ago and Truffle Pig was recommended to me by locals. It was so good that on my most recent trip through Gladstone and Tannum made a point to stop here again. 10/10 food, and all the staff were so friendly and the service from them was incredible. Highly rate and highly recommend, any time I’m in the Gladstone/Tannum Sands area I will make sure to go back!

Gone down hill in my opinion ever since it was changed from Rock Salt to Truffle pig, and its even worse now they have them stupid apps on the table which is why i give service a 2 star other wise staff are friendly enough.

The food can be hit and miss these days, and the menu is so typical and predictable now. It's a shame. When it was Rock Salt, the food menu was way better, and i didn't mind paying the extra money for it. It's way to expensive now just to have breakfast which I know, doesn't help with inflation but just a rubbish situation we are all in. On the whole Rock Salt was an epic night out but can't justify the price for an over hyped burger and chips at Truffle Pig.

Went to get a cold drink and icecream today. The young bloke serving was amazing, fantastic customer service, pleasant and happy. As visitors it was nice to have such a pleasant experience. Keep doing what you do, Champion.

EVERY. TIME! The entire team here are seriously the best! The food. The waffles. The service. The atmosphere. The drinks. The board games. Everything is incredible.

We have been there 5 times in the past 6months and I'm constantly surprised that it somehow gets better every time.

The cherry glazed pork belly with veggies, smashed sweet potato, and kale is my absolute favourite!
I also had their special Waffle dessert tonight - the apple pie Waffle.
Absolute tears of happiness. HANDS DOWN BEST WAFFLE I'VE EVER EATEN!! 👐🏻😍

This restaurant and has friendly staff, beautiful meals and great views of the Harbour. I highly recommend a visit for main meals.

With a location like this it would be great if there were options besides a full meal to stop in have a coffee and something small to eat.

First time visiting for lunch/dinner with my partner and we're super happy with how it went. Absolutely fantastic customer service. We ordered onion rings and calamari to share as we were having a day cruising around on the motorbike; it was great. Definitely a highlight of our day. Best calamari I have ever had and you can't go wrong with the onion rings. Time and money definitely well spent, loved it. We plan to come back when we have a day off to try the breakfast menu or/and a burger. Being almost 20, my partner suggested trying a cocktail for the first time and it was bloody brilliant. Without a doubt, 5 stars.

Yummy food and great cocktails

Great view, very nice food and reasonably priced too. We had the corn and jalepino fritters and smashed avo and fetta brekkies which were both yum..maybe more jalepinos but hubby likes really hot food 😉. The coffee was really good.

The best calamari and pork belly we've ever tried, beautifully cooked duck and amazing desserts. This was all provided exceptionally quickly, the staff were attentive and incredibly friendly. Beautiful spot overlooking the water, both classy and family friendly. 10/10 recommend!!

Hells Bells - we were not expecting this one when we walked in as passer by and really glab we did!

Service was from happy staff willing to not only be helpful but have a laugh with you (or was that at me in my case 🧐).

Food was wonderful - highly recommend both the pork belly and the pasta!

Amazing food, amazing service! Seriously recommend this place. My partner loved his food and so did I which is a really big thing when we both enjoy the food! Thankyou! We will recommend to family and friends going to Tannum sands! Also stated permanently closed on the website so we weren’t going to go but were so glad we did and we recommend a edit to google to change it back to open :)
