Keppel Sands Lookout

Come to( KS) it nice form family day out picnic barque. Or even just play time with the kids even a nice meal at the Keppel sands pub and coffee shop is open most day but is a grate place for a change even a good place for a young couple just sitting in the park getting to k ow each other then plus the beach

Nice lookout over Keppel Sands and out to the surrounding islands. The gravel path is a bit steep, but the view is worth the climb. You can find one starting point from the helipad. Perfect for a sunset photo. There are plenty of mosquitoes and midges, so don't forget the aeroguard.

The 10 minute walk up the hill through the bush isn't that special but the views from the top are worth it. It doesn't look like many people use the trail as it's a bit overgrown in places and the mozzies are hiding in the shady spots. We were able to walk from our our campground up the hill and then to the beach and back for a great afternoon walk.
