Amazing and very flavourful food. Loved everything we ordered. If you are looking for meat with pure flavour then Ghan Cafe is your spot!

We ordered Skewer Kebab with Rice and Rolled Chicken with Rice. Both were very delicious with an amazing flavour. Its unaltered meat flavour with very minimal spices and should appease every meat lover.

One of the best places I have been to in Launceston. Highly recommended!!! Will try chicken pesto next time :)

Delighted to savor the Authentic Seesh Kebab! The rice paired impeccably with the succulent lamb skewers, creating a heavenly combination. The chicken seesh also delivered a delightful taste, adding to the overall culinary experience.

My elderly mother wanted to try this. She loved it and so did I. Service was fast. The rolled chicken korma we shared was excellent: so tender, juicy, full of interesting flavours and served piping hot with masses of fluffy rice. With a side of quinoa salad, the bill was only $25 and we were both too full up to finish the good quality long-grain rice. The decor is plain, caff-style with not many seats. Go soon, I cannot recommend it enough for the food.

Fresh delicious food, great service. We shared the Zereshk polo with kebab and Ghormeh Sabzi. Their range isn’t huge but what they do they do it really well. The only thing missing was some music. Highly recommend

Tasty food. Love supporting small businesses and authentic people. Quality food cooked with love. Place could do with an injection of capital and more support. The locals and tourists should definitely give it a go. I'll be back.

Tried this today for the first time. Was a bit skeptical when i walked in as there was just a menu. I ordered the Kabuli polo with 2 kebab koobideh..I'll tell you..it was delicious!!! I apologise for no photo it was so good i just went for it. This meal is fluffy rice with carrot and raisins, 2 kebab (1 chicken and 1 lamb) and a side kabouli salad. The word polo i believe is flavoured rice. Plsgive it a try, i hope you enjoy it!!! The place has free parking at the back and front. Its all afghan meals and halal. They have a small selection of baclavas and other things on display. Very clean and well maintained. Its definitely wheelchair friendly

What a find. When you walk in your expectations arn’t exactly through the roof, it’s pretty spartan and bright in the restaurant, but the food is straight from another world. Literally. I had the 2 kebabs with rice and chickpeas and it was absolutely delicious. Can highly recommmed!

We just had the most delicious dinner from here. A kebab box and a kebab. Everything was fresh, tasty and generous. My toddler tried everything and loved it all. This is the real deal guys there were even barberries in the rice. Highly recommend

This place is a well hidden gem. The Zereshk Polo with Kebab was beautiful and you can literally feel your stomach feeling good after eating it. No guilty pleasure. Simply just pleasure.

This was my first time trying Afghan cuisine and it was really tasty! The staff was also very friendly with explaining the dishes. I'll definitely be coming back to try the other dishes soon!

Great place for kebabs, I was in tasmania for a week and visited the kebab restaurant twice. Rolled chicken with rice and kebabs is nice and tasty.
Very friendly staff, and overall the food was good. If you are in Launceston please give it a try.👍

Inside of shop is spotlessly clean and well spaced out seating. Service was quick and friendly and hygiene standard is high.
Food is cooked when you order, not stuck in a bain marie for hours.

I ordered 1 chicken and 1 lamb koobideh with chips and a double strength cappuccino ( without chocolate or sugar)
