Maple Cafe

Great cafe for breakfast while on holidays. We went twice and weren’t disappointed with the quality and portion of food. The halloumi is SO good the way it is fried and the corn fritters are to die for. Just wish they existed in Melbourne. My husband really rated the breakfast smoothie too.

What a beautiful little place. The atmosphere is super relaxed. They have a kids playground and are pet friendly. How beautiful it is to be able to have lunch with your furry friends and family. The food was prepared beautifully and we all enjoyed our meals and drinks. Also plenty of Gluten free options and the staff were lovely. 🥰

Absolutely love Canadian style pancakes (salty and sweet!), so had to try out this cafe. Definitely not disappointing. Lovely coffee too.

What a treasure. Decor, atmosphere, service, food, wine, were all exceptional. Definitely one of my absolute favourite places to dine now. Known for being an honest but harsh critic I couldn’t fault anything except the size of my stomach but I will be back for more, and often 👌

They have the best mushroom burger . I don’t think I have to say anything, you can see it in the pictures. I never forget to go here once every few months. Love the atmosphere too.

Food was good with plenty of vegan options. The atmosphere is nice and staff were pretty fast and friendly. Appropriately priced too.

Love the vegetarian burger! A good place to come as a group for lunch, but better to reserve a table first, as it is usually very busy on lunch time. Also the staff are friendly.

One of my regular places.
On Wednesday, my friend and I went to lunch @ Maple with three of our young kids. (4y/o and two toddlers)
Not only were they happy to give us a table at short notice, our server, Dana (I hope I spelled that right!) went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us. She was determined to make sure the kids were comfy and happy, and was patient and kind with us as we struggled to wrangle them long enough to figure out what we wanted 😂
We weren’t charged for a meal we ordered that we ended up not happy with (through no fault of the cafe) and was so friendly and happy and accommodating that I knew I had to share about her.
Thank you so much Dana & the rest of the team at Maple. Your excellent service will bring us back time & time again. 🥰

After a flight from Melbourne we were hungry! And we had booked at Maple before arriving in Launceston as the menu had something for everyone in the family. After a short wait for the rest of the family to join us, we find out they’re also at maple cafe but in another part of town! We had no idea there was two of them and exactly the same! We decided to eat separately at the Maples we were at and meet up after.
Blown away by how friendly the staff were. So many smiles and laughs from the counter to the kitchen, it was just what we needed after getting out of the airport. Food was delicious, the chips were a winner all round and pulled pork burger was so tasty. We all loved the coffee.

We had a function at maple last weekend and we could not be happier with how the night went. The staff were so accommodating and did everything to make our night the best. The platters were delicious, we especially recommend the seafood and sliders.

We used Maple Cafe as a function space and we were incredibly happy with the level of service. Georgia and Abby were both amazing and extremely attentive to all of our needs, going above and beyond in multiple ways. For anybody considering using Maple Cafe as a venue, we couldn't recommend it highly enough.

A wonderful cafe. Beautiful free range eggs and quality produce. Friendly ambience and surroundings. A spot to enjoy a coffee, breakfast or lunch. My son says he had the best bacon and egg roll here!!

Staying nearby we didn't want the hotel buffet breakfast so found this well presented Cafe. Seems to be very popular with locals judging by the number of tables reserved. Nice and busy, yet the service was quick and attentive. Food lovely and the coffee good. Pity this is our only morning in Launceston. I'll have to remember for next time I come to Tassie.
