Tamar River Apartments

Loved it. Great location, well maintained and very comfortable accommodation, all a stones throw from Launceston. Recommended.

We stayed here for 1 night, and we regretted it. We stayed in 2 rooms facing the river and the view is beautiful.

It’s the best place, really luxurious and comfortable. All the amenities and facilities are out of this world, anything you need, voila, it’s there. Portable cot, high chair for baby, washing machine, dryer, dyson vacuum cleaner, etc. All the linen is clean and 5 star quality.

Really recommend this place for everyone. Worth every penny.

Wow 😍 it's gorgeous. The view is gorgeous. The room is gorgeous. The facilities were wonderful and it made a stunning conclusion to our trip. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. The whole place was immaculate and it had every amenity I could have possibly needed. It's also super close to Launceston without being in the city and it's basically on top of the cellar door if you want to wander down and have a look.

Highly recommended!!! Located above the wine yard, nice view of Tamar River, 5 minutes drive to gas station and Woolworths. The apartment is modernly designed, clean and well maintained. The open kitchen has everything you need - all the cooking tools, utensils, condiments, even fresh milk and pasta provided. If the weather is nice you can dine or BBQ on the balcony. Self service required but it’s easy to get yourself checked in (useful information will be sent to your email prior to arrival). I just love this place!

The rooms are incredibly spacious with all of the modern amenities. They were clean with an good kitchen, great sized bathroom and utterly fantastic views over the Tamar Valley and the vineyards. The location to local attractions is perfect with Launceston, the rest of the valley and even Cradle Mountain within day-trip distance. The opportunity to experience the cellar door and only have a short 100 metre walk back to your place cannot be understated 😊 I highly recommend staying here for a weekend away or even a entire week or two.

I don't know where to begin.. Firstly - wonderful service. My significant other booked the incorrect dates, and they helped fix our little booboo lol.
The apartment itself is well-designed and practical. I know the point of a holiday is to avoid cooking, but I really enjoyed preparing dinner both nights we were there. The view is beyond amazing, and the floor to ceiling windows bring in so much natural light. My only regret is not staying one more night.

Stunning view, excellent view, you can look out at the beautiful view while soaking in the bath.
Welcomed with 2 litre of milk and delicious muffins. Great supply of cooking utensils and and every day needs in the kitchen. They also have a washing machine. Quiet relaxing place to visit. The song of the kookaburra is heard and other birds tweeting.

Excellent accommodation with great views overlooking the River and Valley. Very well fitted out and nice 'Welcome' touch of local bread and jams. Everything you could want - clothes dryer, Dyson vacuum, kitchen supplies, etc., etc.

The apartment was equiped with everything you could think of... and then some more! No money was spared in ensuring the place was of a high standard. The bathroom towels and linen are egypian cotton, the apartment has netflix, beautiful views and very clean. The host Sue, was incredibly helpful with any questions I had - thank you Sue for a wonderful stay!

These apartments are wonderful. Located just outside of Grindelwald with a fantastic view over the vineyard at Tamar Ridge. Spacious and equipped for the modern lifestyle, would definitely return.

Stayed the night for our wedding anniversary, was absolutely amazing, the rooms are so comfy and warm and the views are immaculate

Gorgeous view, a beautiful self contained unit. A deep bath with a view and gorgeous, huge beds. Cannot recommend highly enough
