Great venue, great tasting experiance and great wine. We had a fantastic experiance and the owner Mark even 'helped' me change my flat tire (he actually did everything).
Service was second to none.

Very lovely and informative owners, who hold plenty of knowledge of all of the delicious wines we tasted. Definitely recommend it to anyone coming this way. We would love to be back again!

Lovely boutique winery! Great host, very knowledgeable.
We enjoyed the “28” wine & grazing platters on their last opening day before Christmas 23. Sensational value, great wines and fantastic local produce. 🍷☀

Mark was awesome in taking us through his collection. From lively whites to sensational reds to pretty sweets, we tasted them before deciding to purchase them all. A beautiful vineyard and passionate winemaking worth visiting!

So you've had a lovely weekend down south, but alas, reality sets in and you begrudgingly you pack up the car. Set the GPS and see that lovely (read boring, traffic filled, frustrating) stretch from Bunbury to Mandurah pop up and already you're longing for wineries and a place to stop and reward yourself for the hour you've already spent behind the wheel.

At least that's how our morning went,.. And so we turned into Winery 28, initially to simply escape the traffic,.. But what we found was the first true peaceful moments of the weekend away, with absolutely delicious varieties of wine we'd never had before, and a platter of the freshest most delicious cheese, fruits and meats!!

Mark is very knowledgeable and there is a clear passion in what they produce! They've converted us into Arneis and Nebbiolo drinkers! We'll definitely be back.

(as an added bonus, they're midway between the two average speed camera speed traps, so you can go that little bit faster to get some fine food and wine without worrying about a fine)

We often stop here on our way back from the South - it's well worth the short detour off the highway.
Pippa and Mark are great hosts.
We really enjoy the different varieties of wines. Highly recommend a stop to enjoy the view and tastings.

A very enjoyable wine tasting experience with a tasty platter. Beautiful setting looking out over the vines. Friendly hosts with lots of information about their Italian inspired wines. A touch of Italy so close to Perth. The winery also offers local artists the opportunity to display and sell their works. Patchwork and paintings were all amazing. The perfect ending to a south west getaway with my “crafty ladies”.
Thank you!

A lovely little spot off the beaten track tasting Italian varieties we have never tasted before. The quilts and local art is also beautiful. The service was fantastic and we had informative chats with the wine maker's friendly wife whilst he was working hard in the vineyards outside. Experienced the feeling of a friendly family operated farm whilst tasting their craft.

We were so pleasantly surprised by this winery tucked away off the beaten path in Yarloop. We had a wine tasting and charcuterie board and it was well worth the money. An easy day trip from Perth down the Forest Highway and well signposted to the door. It is based on Italian varieties of grapes and they support local producers and suppliers for their cheeses and crackers (delicious). I do not like red wines but their Cab Sav. is not a dry as some and their other red varieties are very nice too, they each have their own distinctive characters and notes. The owners philosophy towards making people welcome and your experience of the wines as opposed to high turn over of customers make this a unique and refreshing experience and one we will definitely recommend.

Great wines! We really enjoyed everyone we tasted and will definitely be purchasing more online when we get home. Very informative about their wines and gave us a few tips on things to do on our holiday. Wonderful start to our wine tasting adventure.

So glad we stopped here on the way home from down south.
Very friendly service, great wines.
Go and try something a little different from what you can buy at your local.
My son ordered wines to be sent back to Melbourne where you cannot find many smaller WA wines.

Beautiful little vineyard in a tranquil setting. We enjoyed tasting Pippa and Mark's Italian wines so much that we signed up to their club. They are very friendly and informative hosts and their dog, Jasper, is gorgeous.

We went for the 28 Grazing experience and it was awesome. We had eight substantial wine tastings per person and a platter of cheeses, meats, crackers, olives, fruit and nuts. Amazing value for money for just $20 a head. Beautiful location that the kids can run around in. Would highly recommend.

Perfect stop on the way back to Perth - conveniently located in the average speed camera zone, a fantastic place to rest for some interesting and delicious Italian wine varieties with a cheese platter. The boutique wines were all so good we bought some of everything! Highly recommend!

We travelled here after reading great reviews and were absolutely impressed with the lovely service by host and owners Mark and Pippa. We had a share platter which delicately complimented the plethora of Italian and French wines for tasting. Thank you for sharing an afternoon on your vineyard with us. Rob And Calina.
