Maison LASSIAILLE - The Art of French Dessert and Chocolate

A must visit in Margaret river! Whether you’re a tourist or a local, I’d put this on my bucket list. Authentic French patisserie, absolutely delicious. Came here with my husband for the high tea set, the flavours were on point. We finished the high tea set, it was filling, so we decided to takeaway some other classic pastries like croissant and financier, along with some fancy treats 🤤

Vegetarian friendly, made with fresh ingredients, we could taste how incredibly talented the chef is. We’re so glad to have the chance to experience this.

You can make reservations on their website - submit via enquiries. They respond almost immediately on instagram too!

I have never eaten such amazing cakes and pastries!!! So good we went back the next day too!!! The owner is exceptionally talented and kind.

We booked high tea at ML and all I can say is what a great experience. The chef was very accomodating to a pescatarian and a non fish eater. The high tea was really top quality the savoury and sweet dishes all tasted really good. You can see there is a lot of attention to detail to ensure that you experience great food. Would highly recommend treating yourself to high tea or pop in and sample some of the cakes that literally look too good to eat 😊😊

OMG yum!!! Such delicious cakes and pastries here! I will definitely be back! So many choices! The outside area was lovely to sit and have a coffee and enjoy my lovely fresh fruit tart. Fantastic!

This place is amazing. A friendly, country Cafe with a strong French influence and fantastic patisserie incorporation local, native ingredients. All made from scratch on the premises. Well worth a visit.

The food is absolutely impeccable.... Attention to detail / delectable handmade to perfection.. its like being in France but close to home 😉 To be honest these deserts were better than the ones I had in Paris 🤩

The almond croissant to date is the best I have ever had.

This must be on your list of places to visit in the South West. Catering for all sorts of allergens, the coffee is divine and the deserts are picture perfect. We will definitely be back.

Lovely patisserie - fresh and delicious, offering a great variety. The owner was very sweet and gave us some free goodies to sample and chatted away, good atmosphere very relaxing vibe would recommend!

Would rate it more than 5 stars if I could. Just had dessert this afternoon. Love that the owner speaks to you, serves the desserts and gets right in there not pretentious as all. We tried the pear and the chocolate mousse and went back for a panacotta. Beautiful outside area too.

A show stopper to come and see. Beautiful and delicatable desserts its hatd to choose which one. Plenty of comfy seating indoor and out. My dog was also welcomed via side gate. Chef is extremely skilled as his desserts melt in your mouth and the coffee there is great too. Can't wait to come back again and try more desserts.

We heard about this patisserie and has to try it.
We specifically visited to see if we could order a gluten free birthday cake.
Chef was so amazing and accomodating and had it ready for us with only 2 days notice.
Honestly the most delicious gluten free cake ever. Not too rich or sweet. It was just right.

Every dessert carefully and thoughtfully made. Such amazing and delicate flavours with just the right amount of sweetness. My husband and I have been to many restaurants and I would highly recommend this in the 'fine dining' category of desserts.

I must have driven past this fantastic place hundreds of times but one of our friends told us to come on Down and try it so we did thank goodness
Well talk about getting blown away this place has got it all
The facility it self is magnificent and planned perfectly for its customers
You can sit in the the beautiful gardens or under cover in patio type areas
The coffee it’s self is to die for so to the hot chocolate etc etc well done to the barrister
So wait for it, this French delight serves the best sweets I’ve ever tasted they truly are unforgettable and so tasty
The staff are magnificent they are so friendly and helpful but perfect to top it off they are first class customer service operators
Love these guys they are so nice and the food is first class it’s unbeatable

What a wonderful afternoon tea we have had at Maison Lassiaille. Romain and his staff prepared a wonderful feast of French Delicacies for our party of 6 people in celebration of my wife’s 70th Birthday.
We were treated so very special and the extra touches Romain added to the afternoon has made it a birthday to remember..The final special touch was the most beautiful chocolate mousse cake which was delicious.
Thank you Romain and all your excellent staff for making my wife’s day so wonderful.

WOW, everything about this place is fabulous, but above all - the cakes. The Rocher was so light and delicious and the Paris Brest was devine. We will be back.

The food and service was incredible! Very receptive replies, and the quality of the food was 10/10. The chef was happy to accommodate my request and put together high tea boxes so I could organise a high tea day at home for my mum. Would absolutely recommend visiting, I'll definitely be returning.

Great spot for tea, coffee and cakes. The cake I had was quite sweet which was good for my sweet tooth. But for some it may be too much so suggest getting the pastries instead which were less sweet but still as delectable.

We did arrive a bit late in the day around 2 pm and things were running out so suggest coming early to have more options.

I’m not surprised that even though the business is pretty new, it has that many positive reviews. The owner really takes pride in what they do. And what they do is sensational. The feel is that you are loosing your feet as you look through a display of deserts realising you cannot eat it all and have to choose 🫣😊 a little part of France in Western Australia
