Seekers Bar & Cafe Boat Harbour Beach

Beautiful sunny day, took the dogs down to the beach. We decided to try the seafood chowder as recommended in the reviews, they weren't kidding 😋 so delicious and packed with seafood. Great service, beautiful staff

We travelled from Port Sorell to Boat Harbour to experience the seafood chowder cob loaf and so very happy we did. The chowder was jam-packed full of delicious Tassie seafood including scallops, calamari and fish, with the chowder like none I have ever experienced. My last experience of chowder was in Scotland and the chowder at Seekers well surpassed that. The king prawns, which accompanied the dish, were amazing. The best latte and hot chocolate too. We also took home the vanilla as well as pavlova cronuts and wish we had bought more; they were so scrumptious! Staff were so very friendly and with their ‘Be Kind’ approach, this is definitely a wonderful experience we will be coming back to time and time again. If I could give more than five stars I would.

Stunning view, literally on the beach. Great setting. Clean fresh fish in their wonderful fish and chips. Friendly staff. Overall a lovely spot with great food.

Popped in to this charming cafe on the way to Stanley . Great setting and lovely playgrounds if you have children who need to play after being cooped up in the car . Coffees great and you can sit inside or out. We opted for afternoon tea although scrumptious looking lunches were flying out of the kitchen around us. The warm scones and homemade jam were great and my husband has the raspberry brownie. White sands and the view of the water were great.

This is our favourite beach, an award winner. So lovely having a cafe to sit outside or in and just gaze at the view over a bite to eat. They have done a few improvements to the plaground/beach area. We take all our visitors there. Worth our trip from Ulverstone. Must see. Best beach on North West for us, quiet little cove. Water was so clear.

Great food, coffee , drinks choice with million dollar views

Well what can I say.
Firstly it was a gorgeous day, secondly amazing company, thirdly we were all starving and last but by no means least.....the fish & chips, calamari salad and all staff were just utterly amazing.
The fish & chips and calamari salad were just perfect, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The fish was so moist and not over cooked and the calamari was so tender, juicy and not chewey. Amazing sized portions.
A hidden gem.
Leaves many establishments for dead on the N.W. Coast.
A must visit as you would be silly not to.

What a great little spot! Plenty of parking here. Service is great and accommodating. They swapped out the bacon for me, so I could enjoy a mushroom and egg brekky roll in the sun. Prices are reasonable too. Plenty of seats inside to enjoy the view or do what I did and bask in the sun, while enjoying the sweeping views of the best beach in northern Tassie. Definitely worth stopping in when you're in the area.

Such a lovely place! It has a great atmosphere and cool decor, and the view is stunning even on a colder day and the staff are lovely. They have amazing ice cream!!

This Cafe is a go to! Superb view, great food. Highly recommend the breaker smashed avo! Exceptional service from a family run cafe!

Great beach ground restaurant
Very busy weekends and on holidays but great food only issue a little unorganised regarding waiting and food ordering their is a side take away area for fish n chips then the more expensive area for finer dining lunch menu starts at 12 pm midway up until then it’s a breakfast menu only and take always arnt available till midday please don’t feed the seagulls they are decently looking to score those much prized chippys to deal out in the seagulls underworld so be careful other than that if you want an amazing lunch right on a beach that has an amazing view right down the coast then make your way to this little gem it’s just a super magical spot to stop and eat some food!

Friendly service and lovely food (morrocan pumpkin soup amazing) . Beautiful sitting outdoors on the deck overlooking the beach.
