Haigh's Chocolates + Factory Tours

Really enjoyed our time at Haigh’s chocolate factory today. The tour was informative and we got some taster chocolates. Left with a huge bag of seconds chocolates too that were about 50% off.

This is such a cool place! We missed out on the tour, but you can still see part of the factory through the glass ( no photography allowed) .

You can taste some chocolate as well. We had some fun choosing chocolates to buy and the staff were great, friendly and had a great sense of humor!

Had a great visit to Haigh’s chocolate factory. The tour was free which was a lovely surprise! And we were given a few free tasters which was lovely. Would highly recommend if you’re visiting Adelaide.

Haighs chocolate's never disappoint. On this occasion, I bought peppermint frogs, scorched almonds, Easter eggs, and a box of assorted milk chocolates. They make great gifts. As you're choosing your chocolate trove, staff offer you tastings. Yum.

The factory shop also has seconds. I'm guessing the chocolate was pointing in the wrong direction (sic). There is definitely nothing wrong with the product, and I'm happy for a discount. Caramel milk bars were awesome. Solid caramel that becomes chewy as it warms up in the mouth, covered with beautiful milk chocolate.

It was nice to visit with kids. Little short self tour or book for guide tour from Tuesday. Look up online. Friendly staff. Free tasting chocolates.

It was great to learn about this family business and how the chocolate is made. We were given some samples of chocolate and it was delicious !! Really good tour and so many choices of chocolates in the store. Fantastic!!

I'm a big kid. I loved it, staff friendly, the factory tour very informative and I have an even bigger appreciation for Haigh's. Totally Australian, ethical and much of the speciality work is still done by hand. You can hear and see how proud the staff are. Best chocolates outside of Europe

Was cool to see them making all the Easter Eggs in preparation! I never realised that they hand foil wrapped all of them. The tour was more of a viewing area but I think that's more due to COVID. They had some stuff I haven't seen in the Canberra store too which made it all more the worth.

Wow, I've always loved Haigh's. It's been my favourite chocolate for over 20 years but found the factory tour has made me love them more. Katharine was an excellent tour guide who gave us so much information in such a short time about the history of the company and how the chocolate gets made. I was then surprised to see how much gets made by hand.
You must book for this tour as it gets so busy even mid week. If you love chocolate, then this tour is for you

A free tour that lasts just 30 minutes. Plenty of free tasting of the product. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Definitely glad we visited!

Beautiful place, friendly staff and unique chocolates.

Omg the smell of chocolate hits you as walk thru the door...crazy, sensors going thru the roof if you are a real quality chocolate lover as I. The store is beautifully presented with lots of choices for everyone pallet. Their is also a chocolate factory tour available...ill do this one day for sure. Highly recommend you visit ...btw I was so in chocolate heaven high.. I spent my time trying to decide which packets of chocolate I wanted most ..no photo haha 😄 you will have to go check it out for yourself 👌😌

I thought everyone was overhyping this chocolate but can confirm it's bloody good. my favourites are the freckles. they're so moundy and delicious.

The best free tourist experience in the city, taste amazing chocolate while learning about our states treasure. Perfect for kids or international visitors as the English used and signage is at an accessible level.

Top quality chocolate, set up and staff. Very friendly, even during a busy period. I unfortunately couldn't find any "seconds" or discounted chocolate, but as it was the Easter weekend I wouldn't be surprised if they'd sold out. However, Haighs chocolate is always worth every cent - their peppermint frogs are a particular favorite of mine.

A really interesting look at how Haigh's makes their chocolate. The staff were lovely. Every time we visit the stores the staff make the experience amazing.
The factory itself is small so not heaps of walking needed. Be aware that parking is limited on site however you can easily park near by if need be. Best of all there is a shop filled with various delights and even some factory secounds. Plenty of dark and milk options. Was also pleased to see some white chocolate options as well.

I love it, the tour is really interesting and have a lot of different perspective and nice information about the chocolate, the factory is beautiful, the customer service is excellent and the chocolate is delicious.

Thomas helped my partner and I buy some lovely chocolates for her grandpa here the other day! He was delightful and a really welcoming presence. Thanks Thomas!
