Animal Welfare League Queensland Op Shop

Went into AWL op shop at Currumbin.I have never had such a wonderful shopping experience with my epilepsy assistance dog Astor.The gentleman who served us and all the staff were amazing and welcoming.Thank you so very much.Such a positive experience.The friendly volunteers are so kind towards my medical assistance dogs Astor. Thanking you for all your kindness and awesome bargains.I got an amazing pair of pink woollen crocs.Awesome books,a great variety of wool and a birds toys for my finches Meep Meep,Lillie and Tommy.Best of all a matching dog Tutu Dress,hat and green wig for Astor.Charlie got a Qld Maroon woollen lined bling puppy coat.The kind lady also gave Astor a puppy treat.I got to cuddle Des the eagle too.Astor does not like Des!What would Dad say in heaven?😇I have a crow tattoed on my arm in memory of my Dad.You have a customer for life.My disability advocate loves your shop too.

Great bargains, so much variety to rummage through, friendly staff. And thanks for letting dogs in!

The staffs are really warm friendly and nice especially Pony and Sandy. We had a pleasurable visit. Price is reasonable and cheaper than any other op shops. Definitely recommending this place.

Love this place! I homeschool so I go for kids books and dress ups and the prices are unbeatable for the area. The staff are so lovely and it's clear they'd rather customers come back than turn an outrageous profit as so many op shops these days seem to do. Thanks for everything you do folks!

Cheapest op shop I have been to in Australia. 3 clothing items for $5. Friendly staff too.

Worth a look. Interesting range. Lovely people. $5 minimum for eftpos or bring cash in small notes. May not have change for a $50 note. It's a little tricky to see from the street - it's down the very end of the building.

Best op shop on the coast. Only one staff member there that seems to overcharge on a lot of things and doesn't adhere to the 3 for $5 signs for the ladies clothes, seems to make up her own prices Willy nilly, quite rude and doesn't often say hello or thank you when you are making a purchase. I also purchased a stroller that had an $8 sticker on it which I didn't see until later, but this same staff member said it was $10 was clearly wrong I think she needs to be like the other staff members there. Nice and friendly, people want a nice shopping experience and unfortunately she does not give you that.
