Our local Indian takeaway, honestly one of the best butter chickens I’ve ever had. Rice was perfectly cooked and also really enjoyed the Paneer curry too. Friendly service and not over-priced. Highly recommend

Great food and a great experience! We walked in less than an hour before closing and ordered a delicious selection of vegetarian food for two for just $40. It came quickly and was delicious. I loved the garlic naan—it was thinner and flakier than I’m used to, and it was great. The service was fast and friendly, and we’re already considering going back before we head home in a few days!

Was a cold night and walked upto this place to have some hot Indian vegan food. Ordered cottage cheese in spinach with some garlic nan and gave a preference of making it spicy. The food was just amazing in taste and authentic. Guess over ate, underestimating the quantity that would be served.

Can never recommend this place enough. Visitors to the area always ask wheres the best for dinner. Forget walking up to chapel to pay a million bucks for subpar food, Darjeeling is fast, cheap & unbelievably delicious. CONSISTENTLY delicious. Run by a bunch of legends who have been in the industry for donkeys years. One final word: SAMOSAS

The butter chicken is fantastic, it's so rich and creamy their own secret recipe and i can tell why it's a secret it's so delicious. I love eating it with garlic naan.

One of the best indian restaurant in Melbourne...small but Highly recommended...food was exceptional even my traditional parents liked it...The owners will make all efforts to give you best experience...

Used to work in the Cadbury schweppes building back in the mid 90s, and then Tatts head office across the road in the early 2000s .. darjeeling is and will always be the best indian place for indian food .. i don't understand and i will never agree to some of these rubbish comments posted here .. DARJEELING has always been very consistent with the taste, and quality of their food .. As a Malaysian, I know my curries very well !
