Had gol gappy, biryani and a kebab roll.
The kebab roll brings back happy memories from home - really good paratha, crispy and not too oily with soft kebab and onion with chutney.
Gol gappay were fresh.
Biryani could have been better.

We decided to indulge in a delightful feast, selecting a trio of delectable dishes: Keema Naan, Lamb seek kabab, and Chicken korma.

Let me begin by emphasizing the sheer quantity of the Naan. One serving was more than sufficient for a hearty appetite, equivalent to consuming 6 to 7 chapatis. Its size was truly immense, leaving us in awe.

The Seekh kabab, on the other hand, surpassed all expectations. Its unparalleled quality was unlike anything we had ever encountered before. With each bite, it effortlessly melted in our mouths, leaving us craving for more.

While the Chicken korma was satisfactory, it did not quite reach the same level of excellence as the previous dishes. The gravy was decent, but lacked the wow factor we had hoped for.

Considering the overall experience, the prices were surprisingly reasonable. A single Naan was priced at a mere 5.50 AUD, a true bargain considering its substantial size.

Locating the restaurant was a breeze. Simply step outside Clayton station and head towards Clayton Community Centre. It is conveniently situated just opposite the station.

However, I must caution you to allocate ample time if you plan to visit on weekends. Despite the overwhelming demand, the establishment had limited staff, resulting in lengthy queues. We patiently waited for an hour before finally receiving our eagerly anticipated meal.

In conclusion, our culinary adventure was a mixed bag of delights. While the Naan and Seekh kabab were exceptional, the Chicken korma fell slightly short. Nevertheless, the reasonable prices and convenient location make this restaurant a worthwhile visit, as long as you are prepared for potential weekend crowds.

The Biryani was just perfect and bihari tikka was on point although I personally like a bit more spicy but variety and quality of food 👌.the staff was friendly.Overall I loved the place

📝: Visited Clayton’s Pakistani restaurant a while back. Enjoy a range of 100% halal Pakistani cuisine. The place is always bustling with customers not only because of the tasty menu but its convenient location just a few minutes walk from the train station.

❤: The food here is very bold and flavourful. The biryani was jam packed with herbs and spices that’ll warm your insides up. I’d recommend getting the lamb skewers with it to go with the fragrant rice.

I am amazed by the value and the food was delicious. The service was very friendly and quick. This place is a hidden gem must try if you’re in Clayton!

I was having a bad day, and their food made my day instantly better. Went there during iftaari and there was roohafza, with so many fried snacks. I was craving for the exact snacks that day! The seekh kebab was so so tasty and juicy and delicious. It was perfect. The garlic naan was so soft, it was quite unlike any other naan I've ever eaten. Even the raita was perfect. The right consistency and the right spice. This place is amazing. I want to convince all my friends to go here. It's like being in a mughlai restaurant in India.
Went there again with a friend and their chicken tikka masala was so good I almost cried.

An amazing selection of authentic tasting, beautifully prepared Indian halal dishes. I have been here many times. The last couple of times i dined here i had the goat birani. Such huge portions. Great tasting, spiced food. Garlic naan is great and very big! We ordered 2 but could only finish 1 between 2. The mango lasi drink is amazing! Butter chicken tasted great.

Love the food, one of our favourites. Highly recommend the cha/tea after your meal. It takes a while if you order it, but it's worth the wait imo ☕

Was really happy with their Madras fish preparation. It was just perfect, not too spicy, not too thick and the right amount of spices. The portions were also generous.

I tried their Beaf Nehari, and the taste was so great. I gave 5 stars to the food quality, and the service was good as the staff was friendly, but they need to add more staff, especially during peak hours. The atmosphere was average as they needed to improve the ambience.

This is our go to place for Indian/Pakistani local food. Kabab platter is one of the best around.

Clean and tasty. They filled a mixed platters with char grilled bbq meat, all different flowers. Would I go there again? Definitely! I already booked them to go with the family.

Ordered tandoori chicken pizza on walk-in. Order was quickly processed and the pizza was excellent. Could feel a delicious and right blend of soft cheese and toppings. Loved it. Will be back to taste kebab rolls, bun and kheema, and burgers anytime soon!! Good customer service too. The wait staff is polite and composed, welcomed with a generous smile.

Excellent biryani and juicy kebabs 🤩. Chicken biryani has unique taste and flavor which can't be find in any indian restaurant. Kebabs are just flawless with great texture and taste, Worth every penny.

Some great dishes available here from the Pakistani cuisine. Hearty yummy food! Food quality is consistently good here. Good idea to do a booking on Friday/Saturday nights before arriving.

Very similar to Indian cuisine, however, some dishes are authentic Pakistani. The meats are cooked with care and attention - good marination and very tender and juicy.

TIP - Haleem is a "Must-try" dish here!

The food is always amazing. The chicken Bihari Boti and the Butter Chicken is our go-to! The meat is always suuuuppeerr tender and the tawa paratha is the most delicious paratha I’ve ever had!! I love this place!!

Foods are really nice, specially all the kebabs.

Best ever cup of tea in melbourne, pure desi Pakistani truck driver Tea, i had ordered one chicken karahi boneless. It was awesome and i also had goat biryani as take away for my lunch next day and it was a good choice. Overall my experience was awesome. They say that they cut chicken by hand and its all Halal.
