Gardenview Lodge Motel

Fantastic place to stay. Came for Greg and would come again for the lovely atmosphere and great accommodation.

Everything was clean and comfortable. Pool was beautiful and refreshing. The complimentary breakfast was a perfect way to start the day.

Thanks Greg and staff for a pleasant stay. Will definitely be back.

Greg and his staff were amazing. Greg let our group of 10 check in early and gave us all a late check out.
Rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Garden areas were magnificently maintained.
Free continental breakfast hit the spot. They even had gluten free bread!
Little drive to the main strip of Wangaratta but the bonus of this is that the area is very quiet.
Definitely worth staying here if you need a room while passing through or staying in Wangaratta.

Stayed here over a weekend for a wedding in town. The rooms were a great size (we booked a 2br cabin), and the grounds itself were very well maintained. A basic breakfast of toast/cereal/coffee/tea is included as well.

My husband, daughter and I stayed there over this past weekend.
The cabin was very clean, hand a lovely smell and linen was crisp and white. The facilities were excellent. I would recommend staying there to anyone.

Basic, but just what I needed for a solo nights stay after a long drive, before attending a funeral the next day.
Clean, smelt fresh, microwave, fridge with long life milk and kettle. Plenty of tea, coffee, and sugar
Good shower.
Effective heating and electric blanket on a cold night out.
I was able to arrange a late check out at 11.00 at no extra charge.
Easy self check-in despite arriving about 9.00pm after the office was closed.
5 minute drive to supermarket and town centre.

Only a short stay for work but pleasantly surprised at how nice and clean the cabins are . From the road it doesnt look like much but once inside its certainly a great place to spend a few nights in comfort . Will be back again for sure

We had a very enjoyable couple of nights at Gardenview. We were in one of the villas and it was comfortable and very clean. Very good value.

My family stayed in one of the 2 bedroom cabins and it was fantastic, very modern, spotlessly clean and had everything you need, even a couple of bottles of cold water in the fridge. Beds were very comfortable and AC was quiet. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and good to see there was gluten free bread and cereal available. I’ll definitely stay again.

Very clean and well maintained rooms. Ample parking place. We booked a 2 bedroom villa and a studio. Kitchen facility is a plus.

We stayed here for three nights. The room was clean. They even made up our bed every day! Fantastic breakfast with a lot of choices. Quality bread. They even serve Hot Chocolate. Friendly reception. The only downside was the wifi which was not strong. The signal went on and off. Other than that, we were pleased and happy with the place. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Wangaratta.

Very friendly staff! This place was a very pleasant surprise to us, I would definitely come back even for a family trip.
Rooms are nice a clean and overall feeling of the motel is very pleasant. They have a clean pool and big well maintained garden. Continental breakfast also gives this place extra points.
Deserves 5* for such a low cost.

cabin / villa are well presented and well looked after, spacious and free from noise.
Perfect stop over place for traveller either with friends or family.
During our stay on early Jan 23,
Machinery in sausage Factory across the road was broken, it made massive stinky smell in the whole area. especially at night, need to shut all window and door and cant sit outside, otherwise u will pass out inhaling that aroma

When I'm looking for a one-nighter, I usually go for a pub, as they tend to be cheaper than a motel. I spotted this place on the Google map with a cheap price and did my usual read through the reviews. They were all pretty good for this place and that was enough for me. I was welcomed at reception (and that's all I need - no fanfare) and got my key for a comfortable and spacious room, (no.19). Everything was clean and the bathroom offered me a nice hot shower. I had a TV, a table and chair, a fridge, and other bits and pieces I didn't need, but others might. I don't know what else to say other than it was great value. Glad I found the place.

Unless these guys are fully booked out I won't stay anywhere else in wangaratta. It's always my first choice.
The place is always immaculately clean. The staff are awesome from the moment you check in to check out. Housekeeping really take pride in their work and it shows. The rooms are sparkling clean. Long hot showers with great water pressure and free continental breaky. Honestly you can't go wrong. The pool is sensational and so are the garden views. There is accomidation to suit every budget on site ranging from the budget motel rooms which are clean and have cool quikry bathrooms from another era which I actually love that tho! Then there are bigger more modern family cabins which are also greatly priced and more modern cabins inbetween I Think I've stayed in most!
The beds are super comfy and all have a little bar fridge with complimentary water, milk, coffee and tea making facilities and yummy shortbread biscuits. I love this touch. There are tables and chairs out side the cabins lovely place to sit and relax in the sun.
I like all the rooms honestly. I will continue to make this my second home destination in wangaratta for many more visits to come.

Amazing place to stay! So quite & the 2 bedroom apartment with full kitchen (with microwave) was fantastic & very clean! We Loved the layout of the apartment & the two bedrooms with queen size beds & tv’s in both rooms & also another large screen tv in the lounge room topped it off! Good location which is close to everything including Glenrowan tourist attractions only a short 12min drive! We highly recommend this accommodation for family’s, couples or singles!!! AAA+++

The apartment was absolutely beautiful, it was clean spacious. The bathroom was clean with a big shower. The kitchen was a good size with complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and milk. I Would recommend the Gardenview to anyone. The grounds are also beautiful. The Gardenview gets a 10/10 from me.

When you ask for the cheapest room, you get a cheap room. However our room had everything you genuinely need. Soft comfy bed, cold fridge, warm and effective reverse cycle heater, HOT water in the shower and a TV with all the FTA channels. Yes the bathroom is pink and old, yes the paint and furnishings are basic but there's plenty other places in town that aren't nearly as inexpensive. Check out procedure effortless, booking communication perfect, Cathleen, Kathy and Greg all very helpful. See you all again soon.

Wow! What a great lil diamond in the rough friendly cheerful staff Greg ,Cathy and Kaylene were awesome hosts! Free continental breakfast included in your stay(the Moccona coffee was a bonus),rooms were clean and very comfortable and serviced daily, pool was an oasis in the summer time heat,wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others and stay again

Very impressed with the cabins and the grounds are maintained well breakfast was included which was a bonus we were all very happy with our stay
