I have been going to this restaurant for a decade since I found it. There are some bad reviews which are understandable but I think it is one of the best and authentic Korean restaurants from a Korean’s perspective so hope my review helps.

The chefs and cooks here at the restaurants are Korean mums and ladies who can be in their 30s or 40s as well as 50s or something. For me, it feels the food is served and made by my mums and aunties. This means the food is real and tastes really good. The portion has always been generous and I rarely finish my food whenever I visit (and I have my lunch box ready to go next day🤭).

I’ve seen some reviews about the amount of food and pricing but the price and the amount of food is truly reasonable at this restaurant. I have been a regular customer to this restaurant so I feel like I can tell you that for sure. (When it comes to take out, you only get one food without any side dishes which are usually given so the experience can be different but the side dishes can be given on request I think.) If you dine in you also get free side dishes so I guess it is a plus.

The owners are a beautiful couple who have been running this restaurants together for like decades. When the restaurant is really busy and there are people waiting I think the owner may leave the bill so that the people who are done with their food can give the spot for the others. I know it can be seen rude but for people waiting outside for a table, when the people finish their food do not have any intention to leave or give the table it can be annoying. It is a small restaurant and they get busy and the restaurant can be really full. So I guess it depends on whose perspective to see the same situation.

I am writing this review as I cherish the food here and they are true, authentic and real. I go to this place all the time and feel full and happy. Hope some local people can try really nice food served here. The owners in this place have seen me young and me now as a mum with kids and they have been so generous to the kids too.

Everyone working and cooking is Korean so this is a real place and the taste is always guaranteed. Love this place so much! I will upload more pictures later as I forgot to take pictures even when the food came out 😅.

Amazing Korean food! We are regular visitors and have never been disappointed. Cute little family fun restaurant. Would highly recommend for a good feed.

Loved this place! They offer great Korean food and the staff are friendly (I think it's run by a family). I took my Australian friend here and we both walked out happy :)

Our regular Korean spot, the food is always consistently good, authentic. Been coming here for years.

Delicious home cooked style Korean food, generous portions, Loved the Chuncheon chicken and army stew. We were able to make a booking in advance for a larger group and our kids received complimentary drinks - very nice gesture. Our new favorite dine in and will be back!

Food here is amazing!!! Ordered the Tteokbokki and it was massive and so so good, staff are always so lovely and accommodating, thank you :)

Great value, delicious Korean staples. Japchae and Bibimbap were super good and the sweet & spicy fried chicken may be my fave fried chicken. Staff super nice and attentive the waiter was friendly and happy to assist.

Came here at 8:45 pm last night, I was immediately greeted by the waiter when I entered. I ordered beef sukiyaki hotpot, it was very delicious, I was the last customer and didn’t finish my dish until 9:20 pm, the waiter and the owner waited very patiently and didn’t rush me at all, I felt like I was at home, will definitely come back again!l

I’ve been coming here for years. Sadly my work relocated a few months back but every opportunity I get I try to come to this store. It’s a small place but excellent food. When you get takeaway they actually supply all the side dishes and don’t charge extra for rice! This is very rare, I’ve tried various Korean restaurants in Melbourne, so this place is always a pleasure, above and beyond the pack. They’re starting to get more expensive but I guess this is to be expected as the rents have gone through the roof in box hill. Try them out!

Have been going to this place for years and it never disappoints. Love the bulgolgi and chili karage chicken 😍 heaps of good dishes to choose from, great spot for days that you want Korean food but don’t want to do bbq yourself

The food is vibrantly flavourful and attractively presented, with portions perfect for sharing.
The menu is concise and the eating floor is cozy but still allows for some independent space.

Sorry please excuse the lame title. This Korean restaurant is probably one of the best in Melbourne. There's only seating for about 40 people so they're usually quite full in the evenings but despite that the table service and kitchen still manage to work very quickly. There are a range of dishes many of which I had never tried before. The combination seafood is one of my favourites and definitely for the chilli lovers. For something completely different they have a garlic prawn on rice dish which seems like it would be more at home in a fusion italian restaurant but is one of my favourites. One of those restaurants which makes it hard to choose because of the range of delicious meals in the menu. Love this place. My wife makes me take her here more often than any other restaurant we frequent.

My go to lunch spot. There are great specials between 12pm - 2pm and the food is delicious. My favourite special to order is a bento, which is only $12! I typically get the spicy pork bulgogi 😍 I love this because it’s a full meal, cheap and tastes great.
I’ve also tried the fried tofu, mandu (korean fried dumplings) and bulgogi mains which were also great.

I have eaten a lot of Korean food and this place is very good. The spicy level was amazing and true to traditional Korean food. Recommend for an actual Korean dining experience.
