Quiet lookout, very close to the carpark. Great to stargaze. Lucky to see Aurora Australia on 03May24 about 12:40am!

Looking out towards the sea is absolutely stunning. There is a nice trail you can hike along. Beautiful sandy beaches. It was very windy and cold though even during our visit in January.

It's calm... The melody of green waves will blow your mind. It's peaceful.

Make sure you walk down to the beach, right hand side when you facing the sea view.

You can take your car all the way to the lookout point. Excellent views of Goat's beach , Black Jack rocks & Betsey Island

Fabulous place in Southern Part of Tasmania. Easy parking area, Little bit of Hike deep in the bush, High wave, Clean beach.

This place is gorgeous and great spot for Aurora photos but it gets packed pretty quick so be early!

Goat bluff look view is awesome and very pleasant. It will have one trail and top view of beaches. One of the best view of Tasmania edge of hobart.

It’s beautiful, but can get very busy! Especially at night time. If you are into stars and Aurora, be prepared to see a crowd taking photos lol

We were really pleased we pulled into Goat Bluff Lookout for a looksee at the incredible views of the waters on either side. Theres a narrow bush pathway down to the beach as well.

Such a beautiful lookout (from the edge of the south arm looking at the smaller islands and the Tasman peninsula) and only 25 minutes away from the airport. It was the perfect way to end our marvelous trip in Tasmania before heading back to the airport. Of course if you had more time there are more stuff to do at and around the lookout.

Amazing quiet little gem hidden away. You can access the beach via a dirt track. The beach is really wonderful!!

One of many points of beauty on the South Arm in greater Hobart. I started a long trail run from the Bluff and headed up the arm towards Opossum Bay. There are a number of attractor's to this particular point, the first being that it is only 100m off the main road, the second is that the lookout is right near the carpark, the third is that because it is a bluff and pushed out from the coast you get to see both east and west along the Arm. Betsey Island is just off. Probably the highlight for me is that the Bluff is into Storm Bay and not the River. Because of that the weather is a highlight of your visit. It will be rough. Well worth a visit.

Amazing view with dunes, rocks, birds, waves, and surfers. I came here mid afternoon in August, so the light was getting low. The colors kept changing as clouds passed over the sun. The roar of the ocean and the gentle breeze were perfect after a long journey to get here

Beautiful area, worth the walk down to the beach.
