Mountain Stop Cafe

Authentic big breakfast, simple ingredients done well. So big couldn’t eat it all. Great coffee, loved that the latte was they served in an insulated mug.

What a gem! Savory muffin - worth the trip!
We stopped here on a long bike ride to fuel up and get some drinks.
The shop is located on the corner of the main rode in the heart of the town. It stands out from the usual coffee shop by offering a large variety of savory baked goods (see picture). I must highlight their savory muffin which was simply magical. We don't know the exact incredients, but there is plenty of good spinach, eggs in there.
Their coffee was nicely balanced and got my wife all the way back to Noosa on the bike.

The service was friendly and prompt, and tables were spaced to comply with social distancing rules. The QLD check-in QR code was conveniently placed in multiple locations. We ordered an iced coffee, vanilla thick shake, salad roll and Chicken Caesar salad wrap. The iced coffee was delicious and fortunately lacked the bitterness we’ve been getting lately (from other cafes). The vanilla thick shake was icy cold and thick. The salad roll was a wrap and not a roll … and we’re so glad we didn’t quite get what we ordered as I can’t imagine the roll could have tasted better. Now, the Chicken Caesar salad wrap … O-M-G … the dressing was awesome! Thanks for a great meal. The next time we pass through Pomona, we will eagerly stop for a snack at Mountain Stop Cafe.

We hiked Cooroora and came down for some coffee and food. Toasties were delicious, pies were unreal, great coffee, yummy cakes. Everyone was friendly, check them out! Plus milkshakes and very reasonable prices.

I had a little bird visit me which was really sweet and colourful
Please do not feed the wildlife just sit back and observe

Awesome little cafe, kids loved the burger and chips and my burger was loaded ! Haven’t had a spider in years so extra points for that.

Group of 4 of us... we had pies and couldn't believe how good they were. Chunky steak, not mince, and a good size all made on the premises. Don't ever change the recipe or does size...yummmm oh and t he coffee was really good as well...

Stopped for a quick lunch and coffee on our way through. The steak and mushroom pie, is honestly the best pie I’ve had in Australia.
Service was quick and friendly.
Will be stopping here again!

Best pies and Caramel Slice we’ve ever had. Always a very popular place when we visit from Sydney, but we always come back for the delicious food. Highly recommend

We are coming to the Mountain Stop Cafe for many years, so far we haven’t found anything better when you take in consideration value for money/customer service and location. Wendy (owner) and her team are fantastic, by far the best All Day Breakfast on the Sunshine Coast. The staff is always very friendly to us, and makes every visit a pleasant one. We were locals up to September 2018 then we moved to Gympie but we are still going back for the best breakfast that money can buy.

First time here for b/fast, plenty of food, nicely cooked, staff warm and friendly, prices good value. See you again, give it a go, and the venue plus view just great.
