My first time meeting Roelof today and he was awesome. Super friendly and I didn’t feel like he was rushing me out of the room, also not overly expensive like most vets! Will definitely be back

Very compassionate when we recently had to say goodbye to our 14 year old puppy in an emergency situation. From the moment we walked in the door the receptionist was kind and offered support, and the vet was the same when the time came to say goodbye. Couldn't have asked for better during this sad time.

I have been bringing my pets here for years. Very friendly and professional staff, plenty of parking also. This isn't some huge commercial pet hospital its a small local business with great service.

We have taken our dogs to Southern Cross Vets on several occasions over the past few years. Always professional - they are compassionate with both pet and owner. A genuine interest in the animal's welfare is evident in all they do. We will continue to call on the services of Southern Cross Vets whenever we need them. Thank you all for your help in our times of need.

amazing service need a new vet for miss purdy and macca cause moved from rosewood to donnybrook in february and needed macca tablets from a reliable trustworthy vet highly recommended to family and friends staff is amazing caring and so helpful and very respectable and services are well priced not paying through the roof for amazing service

Great place for pets. The staff there are wonderful with pets and really know how to treat the animals and provide excellent care for them.

Really really good. We drive 25km past our local vet to bring our dogs to these guys - they're all really caring and helpful, they treat your pets like pets, not like jobs, and I've found they always manage to put us at ease if we're particularly worried (we've had a couple of pretty scary episodes with our dogs)..

We have been thrilled to have such caring and fabulous vets in town ever since we moved here about 3 yrs ago. They have helped us with our cats with the highs and lows of life and were awesome coming out to help us say goodbye to our beloved 19.5yr old cat. Wendy has been great with both our cat and chooks!

The devotion and help that we were given when we had to take our pup, Journey, in for a serious operation was amazing. I am not exaggerating by saying it was way above what we could ever expect. Guy, his team, and Matt the surgeon were excellent. Not only were they professional and did a brilliant job, but they were as kind and caring as if she was theirs.

I had to make the heartbreaking decision to euthanize my very elderly cat last week. Guy and the team were terrific in helping me through the process. I elected to have her put to sleep at home. Guy was on time, caring and gentle in his approach. He explained everything with care and genuine concern. He took the time to have a quick chat about Cattie and did not try to rush the procedure. Could not fault him.

Can't thank Guy and his team enough for all their help with our kitty cat, Lily. Nurse Cassandra went above and beyond for us and is an absolute legend! The whole team are caring, compassionate but above all professional. Thanks Southern Cross Vets!

We had a bad experience with our Boxer Bruiser with a vet in a neighbouring suburb. They didn’t listen to us, thought his sore leg was a cruciate ligament. Gave Woodford Vets a go and haven’t looked back. They diagnosed Bruiser, after an x-ray with a devastatingly aggressive osteosarcoma. 9 weeks post amputation (even though his lungs were clear at time of surgery) the cancer had spread. It was so quick. He was PTS and Guy was so caring and compassionate. Brusiser was 2 weeks shy of his 6 birthday.
I have been to many vets over the years, mostly in NSW, but this is the first vet were I feel it’s like family.
The other vets (sorry, can’t remember their names) were great, but Guy was brilliant. I love his old school practice and common sense approach. He listened to us and included us in the decision making. Christina is an angel sent from heaven. What a beautiful soul. They all truly care for animals, my ‘animals’ are my babies and is great to be able to go to a vets who share the same love.

Such loving and friendly staff and a very honest and loving veterinarian 😻
