Woodford Memorial Park

A great park to stop and check out a real leopard tank up close. The amenities were very clean. Woodford is a lovely town.

I loved this park. It was a very relaxing spot to chill out and look at the tank. The toilet was OK but had lots of moths.

Great to stop by and you can cook up a meal as there's a electric BBQ 😋

Compact eve-catching park with a retired tank to grab your attention, in busy down town woodford. Take a moment to remember our diggers and service personnel.

I only used the toilets. They were metal (cold). They had plenty of toilet paper and a clean wash basin and sink. The floor was clear. To get water you needed to push the front panel with your knee! Clean and there was also a light in the large toilet area. There was a lockable door.

Clean, obviously kept tidy by the locals and veterans.
The leopard tank is an awesome site and reminds you of how serious war is including the cost of lives, amputations and ptsd to name a few.

Amazing piece of history here for all to see. The kids enjoy looking around the tank and you can basically park the car next to it (on the road in the designated spaces) and get a pretty cool shot of the family rig next to this beast of a thing.

This place is a good walk down memory lane. The tank has some interesting facts and resources for visitors. Plenty of parking and public toilets also.

After riding or driving all day, sometimes just 5mins to stop and smell the flowers is all it takes.
A good place to do that and just stop the world for a moment or two.
