Luna Constructions Pty Ltd

Luna Constructions managed and performed a knock down of our old metal shed, and then constructed a bespoke hardwood clad, metal framed, 4 bay shed with workshop and laundry area, with the "5th bay" walled off as a large three room cabin.
I had never commissioned a construction like this, and so needed a lot of advice and guidance. I gave Luna reasonably detailed [but, none the less, amateur] drawings of what I was looking for. John and his team worked with me on the design, they then organised all the contractors and work schedule, including certification and council approval.
Unfortunately something came up and kept me from being on site daily, Luna had to make judgement calls on small details because I was away. Mostly they made better decisions and choices than I would have, but there were a couple of small items I asked to them to change and they were very happy to redo them to my preference.
John, Shaun and the trades people who worked on our project were all friendly, relaxed and helpful, during the times I was on site, I looked forward to seeing them every day and having a chat, they all made it an overall pleasant experience.
We love our new "shed" and cabin, it's very handsome and practical, it compliments the house and the realestate people tell me that it will probably pay for itself in increased property value one day.

We engaged John and the team from Luna to completely refit our villa at Peppers. We don't live on the Coast so we engaged them to manage it completely. They provided regular updates on the progress, and completed the project on time and on budget. It was the most stress free build i've ever been associated with. Nothing was too much trouble for Ted, our project manager, and they complied with the strict body corporate requirements without fuss. And the end result is epic!! From the moment we engaged with Luna over doing our extension they were amazing.We were fortunate enough to have plans ready however due to the rise in building cost thought our dream was out of reach. However Luna were brilliant and assisted in the redesign to fit our budget and criteria. From that moment forward it was smooth sailing any changes (which were on us )were identified and seeked approval which ensured now hidden extras. Communication was second to none which was highly important due to an interstate build. Luna Constructions completed the renovation on our home we had dreamt of for 20 years. The house was renovated while we were living interstate, from the initial conversations with the team to the completion of the project the level of professionalism was impecible. The communication was always clear and honest. They took all the stress out if the build with it all planned. When we arrived for the walk through the house was presented beautifully it was a dream come true. I can not recommend them highly enough doing a build remotely was overwhelming but we had full trust in the team through the communication they provided.

We were very cautious about who we worked with in the building arena due to past experiences and after some searching around we engaged Luna Constructions (also upon recommendation) to do an internal home renovation work on a very old cottage that was in desperate need of transformation.

John and Shaun were very personable, friendly and easy to work with, they proved to work ‘for us’, always making sure our vision was being met, and everything was running to schedule. Nothing was ever a problem….which is a unique quality and a pleasure to work with.

Ted was a a fantastic supervisor, again always working ‘for us’, nothing was an issue, and the execution of works was excellent. Ted had great attention to detail and the level of pride and care in the works was ever present even to the point of extending himself to make sure our gutters and driveway were in tact during the floods. Communication was excellent also.

Our old cottage has had an incredible transformation, is just beautiful, thanks to Luna team and we would not hesitate to engage with Luna Constructions again. And hope to do so in the near future. Thanks so much again :)

We recently (March – June 2019) completed a major renovation to our 1940’s timber cottage which included a large extension by Luna, and we couldn’t be happier.
Despite inclement weather, modifications to the original plans and a couple of unexpected challenges along the way, John, Shawn and the team maintained a positive, cheerful can-do attitude all the way and stayed on the job until the finish.
They also introduced us to a great network of suppliers and sub-contractors.
All in all it was a very positive experience and we are thrilled with the outcome.
Needless to say I have no hesitation recommending Luna Constructions as a great team to work with!

Magnificent......they designed, constructed, worked in 40° heat and built my deck and garage which is over engineered for strength, as I requested, and looks great. Their workmanship and work ethic is second to none.... brilliant all round... thanks guys you made me very happy.
