Mount Archer National Park

Mount Archer National Park is a breathtaking haven boasting an ample parking, and unisex toilets for visitors' comfort. Mount archer is a beautiful place to enjoy the nature and the landscape in Rockhampton. The place is totally free of charge, all you need is your time and energy to walk around the place. Sunset is definitely a must at this place, so come around the evening time is ideal. The hiking trail is decent and suitable for most people. Toilet is available at the top of the park near the car park area. Beautiful place to visit

Be careful with Google directions, put the street name in, not the national park name. Great facilities and awesome new raised walking track to the north behind toilets. Coffee on weekends. Good play ground for the kids with a slide/swing and a bunch of things to balance on.
Currently doing road works and expanding the viewing platform so expect some construction on the way up and there.

Easy walk around a board walk to see stunning views down to Rockhampton. If you are a sunset lover definitely worth going to see a spectacular sunset. Plenty of parking and easy walk to the board walk and amenities. BBQ and shelters provided. There is also a kids play area and plenty of seating to sit and soak up the views.

Gorgeous views and lookouts all up the mountain. The new areas are amazing. Walking tracks, riding tracks, picnic areas, BBQs, mountain boardwalk. Love it.

The views were beautiful. You don't realise how spread out Rockhampton is until you see it from up there.

Mt Archer is a great place. It's possible to walk all the way up under 2 h. Unfortunately, the access will be restricted from 19.11.18 till March 2019. Road works, I think.

Certainly a good place to walk up of a morning with good views of the city.

New board walk is great - good views but early morning is best a bit hazy in the afternoon. Good BBQ area.

The area was clean. Loved the view.
The only problem was the toilets which were no that clean. I definitely recommend it.
