Korte's Resort

I stayed at Kortes Resort with a co worker for one night (unfortunately not longer!)
The rooms were absolutely speckles clean and the amenities in the rooms were awesome with a little coffee pod machine, a huge TV, microwave and so on. Just everything you need! There was a small private back porch with dividers and beautiful plants that gave you all the privacy you could wish for.
Their stunning pool is located at one end of the premises away from all the rooms and therefore you’re allowed to to use it for 24 hours a day if you’re considerate, especially at night.
Now let’s talk about the restaurant….. Oh my god….we went for the garlic bread as a starter to share and supreme chicken meal and salt & pepper calamari for mains. The quality/ taste, presentation and size of our meals were insane! Everything was just PERFECT 🤩
….not forgetting to mention the lovely and professional staff at reception and the restaurant that went above and beyond to make us feel very special and welcomed🥰
I will keep this outstanding experience in my mind for a while!
You might think this location might a bit out of town maybe but it truly is worth every kilometre and cent!!!!
I will definitely stay there again when I have to travel down the east coast again.

I stayed at Korte’s Resort for a work assignment in February 2024. I was greeted by welcoming, kind staff. The room was very clean and serviced daily. I mainly ate at the Oasis Restaurant located in the resort. The ambiance was beautiful, particularly at night, and the food was delicious. A great stay. I look forward to staying again. Thanks for a great stay.

At first we only intended this to be a day stop on the way to Airlie Beach, however we were met with amazingly clean rooms, with generous bed sizing. The bathroom had a complete lack of anything dirty, completely white. Service was incredible, with staff allowing us to not even have to lift a finger at dinner, otherwise than to eat. The food was incredible, affordable and hearty in size. The staff were eager to help us with finding activities and tourist spots in the local area. The pool was enjoyable and relaxing for all ages.

First up, it’s definitely not budget. But it is worth it.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a delightful stay.

The staff were nothing short of outstanding. Very friendly, attentive, easy to chat to. The gentleman that met us at reception is the epitome of what good customer service should be.

We dined in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Fettucini, Calamari, Steak and garlic bread for our table and all plates almost cleaned.

They also make a good coffee!

The pool is large and it was quiet too. We even went for a late night swim. Other guests were respectful, there was no obnoxious loud patrons there so it was very easy to relax.

As for the rooms, the bed was huge, sheets soft. We had very good nights sleeps.

The bathroom is large, water pressure is perfect. And the AC works!
The room has everything you need for a short stay. I would bring your own plate and cutlery though if you want to eat anything with the microwave. It has only glasses and mugs.

We didn’t hear our neighbours and we had people each side. So it’s quiet.

All in all, no faults, plenty of parking, good service, great rooms. We will stay here again :-)

We've stayed at Korte's a few times on our travels between FNQ and Brisbane and have never been disappointed. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the rooms are immaculate. You can tell that everything is well looked after and maintained. The pool is beautiful, and even though we've not eaten at the restaurant, there's always plenty of people having meals or cocktails. Keep up the good work! The only place we'll stay in Rocky.

My family and I stayed here for one night. I was unhappy with the room we were given as I was under the impression we would get a little patio. I spoke to the receptionist and she gave us a free upgrade, she was so lovely. The pool is beautiful with plenty of shade. The rooms are clean and it's quiet. Also free washing machine service. The kids spotted kangaroos in the field right by the resort. You're pretty close to everything that makes it very handy. We didn't eat here, so I can't comment, but the service was excellent.

I was very impressed with the quality of the rooms and how clean it was.

The swimming pool is the absolute highlight of the place, myself and my family absolutely loved!

The restaurant was very nice too.

Definitely would stay over there again.

From check in to check out, the customer service was amazing. We were told but the welcoming and enthusiastic man at the front desk to thank Lockie for looking after us. We absolutely thank Lockie but we also thank the man who checked us in. We both left with big smiles on our faces. The room was spotless and we had an amazing nights sleep. We will absolutely stay here again.

The room is very clean room and bed is very comfortable. Spacious. Good car park too. It is a good deal for the price, high quality. Service is excellent. I had a wonderful time stay here.

Stayed in the Spa Suite for my stay.

Room was a lot bigger than expected which was fantastic. The fresh flowers included in the room were a great little touch. Everything was fresh, clean and modern, and the semi-private patio was nice to have the morning coffee on.

Location was great too. Being just outside of Rocky meant it was away from all the noise of the city.

Price was definitely on the higher end ($290ish a night for the room). But it was a great overnight stop!

Stay here for work. Great food, great service and comfortable bed. Rooms are spotless clean. Staff are lovely.

Extremely polite staff. Flashy restaurant and rooms are big and comfortable. They have good tidy facilities. Only thing I can pick at them for is no chicken parmy and no freezer compartment in the fridge😂 other then that it is perfect.

Staying here is like coming home. The staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. Incredibly comfortable bed! Can't wait to return for another visit.

Great service from reception, through to all the restaurant staff.
It was just a pit-stop for us & it had everything in the one location for dinner, drinks, entertaining the kids at the pool & had clean rooms with comfortable beds

I have stayed at Kortes many times .. everytime wonderful service and staff friendly... this last trip just before Christmas , I was travelling home from Brisbane after major surgery . I did not know my exact date for travelling so I booked 3 days , they were so helpful and understanding of the situation .. I kept them informed as it closer to the dates.. I am so thankful to the new ow and staff .. I will be staying there again in the near future. I highly recommend Kortes Resort Rockhampton.

Rooms were clean and really well equipped with kitchenette and full size fridge. Pool was nice and warm also clean.

My wife and I stayed here last week for my mother-in-laws 90th. The rooms food staff and facilities were exceptional. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. A special thanks to the staff who gave us the most enjoyable experience. Thankyou. 👍👍👍👍 Kim and Vicki Reid.

Korte’s is such a great business and accomodation option in North Qld. The new owners are absolutely delight and made our check in a wonderful and fun experience. Shall always recommend Korte’s to our friends who visit Rockhampton.

Travelling north we booked an overnight stay at the resort. For the price, it was very spacious, clean and modern. The bathroom was attractive and shower hot and refreshing. The king bed was heavenly. We had dinner at the Oasis Restaurant. Service was polite and food good. There was some sort of mix up with our table booking. I had phoned the booking through reception but the restaurant had no record. Good thing they were able to fit us in.
The pool looked inviting but we were too tired from travelling to bother.
Only problem we had was getting into the resort when travelling north. We had to do a U-turn at a roundabout. Thanks GPS.

Great location, awesome facilities/pool/gym and excellent restuarant. Worthy on any traveller wether on holidays or a work trip.
