Yim Thai Inverell

Have been here several times, great service, quick and efficient. Food is delicious, serving sizes are good and prices are reasonable. Open for lunch and dinner and closed on Mondays. It's the only Thai restaurant in town, but it's a good one and frequented by the townsfolk. Enjoyed each experience and will be coming back. Recommended

Been there a few times with friends usually for lunch. Service is always great. Staff nice and friendly. Food is prepared and delivered quickly and is always fresh and very tasty. Love eating here.

Had an early dinner here on Saturday night the place was non-stop busy, filled with locals and some tourists. Went here after reading the reviews and was super happy we did, the food was beautiful. We got the home made red curry prawns and the Choo Chee prawns. Both dishes tasted amazing. Family run restaurant, quick efficient service. Highly recommend. Great value for money.

Coming from Melbourne, I’m surrounded by good Thai places. This place is up there with the best there is. We had the duck curry and chicken green curry as well as the vegetarian curry puffs. All amazing 🙂

Best Thai I have purchased all over Australia. A surprise in a regional town, I got their Tom Yum Prawn soup, chili beef/rice and mini spring rolls. All were good value and full of flavour. The soup I had as a breakfast and did half with toast and the other with rice noodles. The spring rolls are second to none, they charge a little more but I would not want to change the size or quality which is definitely there. Thank you

Look no further It may be the only Thai in town, but it's really really good. I didn't expect big-city quality food, but these guys have passion for what they do. It was really great. The service was a little haphazard with little attention and then too much, but overall really nice experience

This Thai restaurant served exquisite and authentic tasting dishes. The grilled satay chicken skewers with peanut sauce was definitely the best I've eaten anywhere in the world. The coconut chicken soup was also a beautifully balanced bowl of flavour. I'll definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and fellow travellers.

My uncle passed and after the wake I took it apon myself to organise dinner for over 30 people. I rang Yim Thai and initially booked 2 tables of 10. I rang them back later on to increase the number to 30 plus. We arrived, our tables were prepared and I can't recommend highly enough the standard of service and the delicious, fresh Thai cuisine! Well done and thankyou from 2 Irish clans. What a great way to end the wake!

We were recommended to Yim Thai by our accommodation hostess & were very pleased. Welcoming staff (all masked up) and we had the house special Duck stew & a prawn pad thai with a set of 4 fish cakes - less than $100 all up.
Washed down with a nice Kiwi Charddy, and couldnt have asked for a tastier dinner. Well done team Yim Thai

Absolutely amazing variety of food, great service, fresh as cooked and served in the order you want it. Can't fault the place.
