Boodua Reserve

A short drive from Meringandan. Poor access, recommend 4WD only. Dry weather road only. Basic facilities only. Really nice body of water. Not swimming pool fresh.... what you expect in nature.

I had an amazing time wile I was there until some old guy that lives on a farm near by kept harassing me definitely recommend going just don't stay to long he acts like it's his land even know it a public place

The council has really let this place go.
Rubbish everywhere, including in the water, fish hooks and random sharp junk/broken bottles and prickles all over the ground, toilets are full of spiders.
Definitely not child friendly!
Road in wasn’t great either, hasn’t been touched in years by the looks of it!
I filled my car with a heap of rubbish, junk, glass and fishing line before I left but it hardly dinted it

Great area if you can get into it. Water in creek good for a fish or kayak. Road in is black soil, dry weather road only. Road is in need of a grader to repair the damaged road. Would not take a caravan In unless it is a 4 wheel drive caravan with high clearance and a 4 wheel drive towing it. Can get a two wheel drive in but be very careful. You may want to walk the track first. Motor bikes and four wheel drives have damaged some areas in the Park. Byo toilet paper. Very poorly maintained park and road into the area. Could be a great area if the people going there looked after it. Keep out of it when wet.

Access to reserve is deplorable road access is very poor,track leading into reserve needs re grading,Toowoomba Council has failed with this area. In truth it deserves a minus score.

Road is not passable, unless you have a really high 4WD and a driver looking for a technical challenge or two :(
